Wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Rosemary in the captain Jack cottage. The house was clean and had what we needed for our stay. However, I wasn’t a fan that the only way we could get into our house when left locked was through the back pool door. It would have made it so much more convenient having a key code on the front door as well, That was the door we primarily used. The pool alarm is a bit obnoxious, about gave my toddler a heart attack when we first got there and opened the back door without thinking of pushing the alarm button first when we arrived. I understand that it’s required but a different sound that wasn’t ear piercing would be nice. Finally , there should definitely be a ceiling fan in ALL rooms. It got pretty toasty at night in the bunk room where my daughter slept. Overall we enjoyed the house and the location was great and parking was easy with our truck.

Thank you so much for staying with us and for your detailed feedback. I'm not sure if you noticed, but a gate on the side of the house leads to the boardwalk right next to the front door. We'll also be happy to discuss with the owner adding a door lock to that door. We have detailed instructions in our mobile hospitality app explaining how the pool alarm works and how to press the button before opening the door to keep the alarm from going off. Please know it is FL state law that those be in place, and they do need to be loud enough to be heard upstairs so that little ones can not access a pool without an adult being present. I love ceiling fans and understand it would be nice to have them in every room, but it is a significant hazard to have a ceiling fan in a bunkroom. The fan could be on at a high speed with a child sitting on the top bunk which would put their head way too close for comfort. Nice Rosemary vacation home
We had a great stay at this property for a quick spring vacation. The house and pool are just the right size for a small family or 2 couples. Only suggestion for improvement is to have checkin be guaranteed at 4:00. It states 5:00 but is not guaranteed. That’s a little late when your coming in from out of town.

Perfect location and size
Captain Jack Cottage is a great location. Park your vehicle and walk/bike to everything you need. Even the beach is only an easy 5 minute stroll away. The room set up in this rental is great with the bedrooms on the lowest level, kitchen and living room on the second, and a crows nest that kids are sure to enjoy. Had all the basic things you'd expect a host to provide and instructions were clear and up-to-date. Super easy check out process as well, which we really appreciated (take out the trash and start the dishwasher). Having a pool was really important to us, and this cottage didn't disappoint. We were swimming in it everyday--great place to cool off and hang out with the family. Definitely would stay here again.

Awesome stay!
For a family of 4 with 2 teenagers, this house was fantastic. There was plenty of room, the size of the pool was great for Rosemary properties, and the walk to beach walkover D is very easy. This property will be on our list for future stays!

Amazing trip to Rosemary
We really enjoyed our trip to Rosemary and the house was the perfect size for 5 of us (3 kids). When we first arrived, there was a small issue with the pool cleanliness, but the 30A team was fantastic at resolving and our kids LOVED the pool. The house was stocked nicely, wish they would give 1 more garbage sack so dont forget to bring some. The house was clean and our kids really loved going to the 3rd story to look out. We highly recommend this house and would like to thank the staff of 30A for being responsive and kind with resolving our questions.

Best Vrbo rental!
We had so much fun staying in rosemary beach. The private pool was perfect and very convenient. The beds were all super comfortable. The house was clean and well maintained. I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone. Great house and location

Adorable little house with a great location
This was the perfect house for a family vacation. The location was perfect and the pool was the star of the whole vacation. The kids loved it. We will definitely be staying her again.

Soul del Sol Cottage
We have rented many different houses in Rosemary Beach. Soul del Sol is clean with fresh paint, etc. and the pool is great. The pool is not too small and we appreciated the pool alarm very much as we do have a young child. However, this house lives small for the price point as compared to other homes we've rented in Rosemary Beach. There is only one small common area with one sectional sofa and the porches are tiny. The hallways are narrow and the laundry area is very cramped. Also, the third floor loft is not air conditioned. During our visit in July, it was too hot to spend any time and especially for someone to sleep in the beds in that area. This was our first time to stay north of 30a and this house is in a great location, which was less populated and great for social distancing during COVID. It is only a 4-5 minute walk to the beach - totally doable and great while staying off the beaten path! As always, Rosemary Beach did not disappoint and we had a great time with our family of 5 in this house, but that is the max that could stay comfortably. However, we have stayed in much larger, less expensive houses south of 30a, so were a little surprised that Soul del Sol did not live larger. Bottom line = great house, but we have experienced better values in Rosemary Beach.

Fun in the sun “sol”
Loved the home, amenities and location. In general the furnishings were good. However, several items of maintenance and upkeep Are necessary. These were Reported to the management company who was responsive in fixing all that could be done. A second cleaning was required but was done immediately. We would return to the home but hope the owners will give it a facelift.

Captain Jack Memorial Day
The entire 30A Luxury Vacations staff is amazing! Easy to book, smooth check in procedure and everything you need to know in an app. The downstairs HVAC went out on the first evening. They sent a tech who found a new fan on Sunday morning of Memorial Day weekend and had us back up and running. We really thought it would be Tuesday! Great service from 30a Luxury Vacations and their staff. House was clean. Good layout. Great location. Having the pool on a crowded holiday weekend was perfect. We've stayed at many different spots over the years but always go back to 30a Luxury Vacations because they deliver as promised.

Great House!
We've come to the Destin area for many years, but this was our first trip to Rosemary Beach. I don't think we'll ever go anywhere else! Chris with 30A Luxury Vacations was great to work with. The house was close to all of the restaurants, shops and a 5 minute walk to the beach (along the boardwalk). The house was clean and had all of the basics we needed. The set up was great for our family of 5 (3 children, ages 8, 5 & 3) and we loved having the pool right there. Highly recommend!

Great Rosemary house with pool!
This house is in a quiet location. Close to shops, park and pools. It was clean. We loved having the porch and our own pool. It was a quick bike ride to the beach and we also rode bikes to Alys one AM for donuts! We will definitely stay here again!

Adorable home. Not too large, not too small. Master could be bigger, not really large........but was totally fine. Actually, all bedrooms rather small, but other than sleeping, not really much more needed. Kitchen good, living small nice. Really a one family home. Pool was great. Deep end 5ft, not 6 as stated (I have tall family!)??. Location great. Loved having 4bikes included. Overall, would rent again or recommend for 5-7 people. (If used both sets of bunks for kids).

Great family holiday
The house is perfectly situated and we loved everything about Rosemary Beach and the accommodation. It was great having the pool, which is small but totally fine. The 30A app worked well for us and we really appreciated having the bikes. It would have been useful to have had different sized bikes as they were all too big for my son and we ended up renting one for him. <br/><br/>We would definitely recommend the house/RB and we would come back again. <br/><br/>My only criticism (and I should note that this did not bother anyone else in my family) was that is was not super clean. The fundamentals were fine i.e. baths, sinks and bed linen etc. However, skirting boards, cupboard doors (and even some wall areas) in every room could have been dusted and wiped. It needed a more robust clean, in my opinion. <br/><br/>Overall, a fabulous family holiday.

Great house! Great Location!
The house is in great condition and everything worked and was very clean. Linens were excellent and towels were luxurious. The pool is well maintained and great to have right in your own backyard. The location is truly EXCELLENT. Right across the street from the fitness center and pool. It's also less than 5 minutes to the beach, the other pools and great coffee. I can't say enough about the great location. The management company was great although the best part was I never needed them. Their app gave me EVERYTHING I needed and was easy to use. As another guest pointed out the house isn't huge but is exactly as described. It was great for 5 of us

Perfect Spot

Great week, great house
We enjoyed our week at Soul del Sol with 3 adults and 2 toddlers. The house was very clean and furnishings were nice; kitchen very well stocked. The bedrooms are a little on the small side but the other living areas were very spacious. We enjoyed starting our mornings in the cupola (aka Castle). Short walk to the beach, pools, tennis, shopping, dining. Chris and his staff were genuinely interested in making sure all our needs were met and came through on all. We will definitely be back - Rosemary is such a beautiful place!

Love Rosemary Beach and loved this house!

We loved our stay at Soul del Sol!!
My husband, our kids and my parents stayed at this property and we had such a great time. The kids loved the pool and my husband loved grilling while the kids played in it after a long day at the beach. We all really loved movie night with the new TV and Sonos the mangement company had just installed. Speaking of, 30A Luxury Vacations made everything so easy for our trip... from check in, to their mobile app with all the info you need, to them personally calling us and checking in during our stay. Great location
The house is located just a short 5 min walk to the beach and not but 2-3 mins from the main square. The pool was perfect and the community had some great amenities. The house was a little dirty and the living room furniture needs to be replaced along with the rug. The rooms are small but the bathrooms were spacious. We had a great time at this house but probably would rent elsewhere due to cleanness.

Great location, very nice place!
Perfect place for our family, great location, short walk to everything.we thought the price matched the house. Couple minor things. The two queen beds are quite noisy when you move at all. Probably need to be replaced but not a big deal. The pool alarm takes awhile to get use to but it is required by Florida state law. Other than that we would recommend this place. It suited all our needs, pool was not huge but very refreshing and convenient. It was very clean upon our arrival, pleasing to the eye and in good condition. Bikes were great as well! Can’t go wrong if you stay here! <br/>

Great property, underwhelming management
Overall, a great property in an excellent location. <br/>However, we travel from the UK every year to various locations in the US and this is the only property we have rented that doesn't have an information sheet for guests with basics details of locks, tv operation, water (heat slow) etc etc. It was also the 'saddest welcome' pack we've ever been provided... we have found all previous rentals to be fully stocked with cleaning products (including dishwasher tablets) , tea , coffee, extra toilet paper, salt/pepper etc as the bare minimum. <br/>We also found the floors and showers were not particularly clean on check-in which was disappointing. Lots of dark hair in the master shower. <br/>Maybe you would consider a lower cleaning fee for guests who are only staying a couple of days. We found the charge to be unreasonable for a 3 night stay, given that we cleaned the floors and showers on arrival and that a 2-3 (max) hours clean is all that would be required on our departure? Again the usual fee we have paid for a 3 night stay is at most $125<br/>I would like to say again that the property was lovely. But the above points plus the $ 45 of phone calls we had to make on the day of arrival tinged our overall image. (Also if you are nearly 25 mins late when arriving to let in guests, an apology would be suitable)

Family Vacation
This was our first time staying in Rosemary Beach and it was wonderful. The Soul del Sol Cottage was plenty big for my family of 4 and my brother in law and his wife. We thoroughly enjoyed having the pool at the home for us to use as we have a 5 year old and a 6 month old. Home is kept well and 30A properties was on top of anything that we needed. A nice little walk to the beach daily along with walking distance to all the shopping and dining that you could want. Looking forward to the Fall or 2015.

Summer vacation
Perfect size house, very close to all the restaurants and beach, easily walkable with small children, having the pool was a great add. The house is in great condition and everything worked and was very clean. Linens were excellent and towels were luxurious. The pool is well maintained and great to have right in your own backyard. The location is truly EXCELLENT. Right across the street from the fitness center and pool. It's also less than 5 minutes to the beach, the other pools and great coffee. I can't say enough about the great location. The management company was great although the best part was I never needed them. Their app gave me EVERYTHING I needed and was easy to use. As another guest pointed out the house isn't huge but is exactly as described. It was great for 5 of us

The house is perfectly situated and we loved everything about Rosemary Beach and the accommodation. It was great having the pool, which is small but totally fine. The 30A app worked well for us and we really appreciated having the bikes. It would have been useful to have had different sized bikes as they were all too big for my son and we ended up renting one for him. <br/><br/>We would definitely recommend the house/RB and we would come back again. <br/><br/>My only criticism (and I should note that this did not bother anyone else in my family) was that is was not super clean. The fundamentals were fine i.e. baths, sinks and bed linen etc. However, skirting boards, cupboard doors (and even some wall areas) in every room could have been dusted and wiped. It needed a more robust clean, in my opinion. <br/><br/>Overall, a fabulous family holiday.

Adorable home. Not too large, not too small. Master could be bigger, not really large........but was totally fine. Actually, all bedrooms rather small, but other than sleeping, not really much more needed. Kitchen good, living small nice. Really a one family home. Pool was great. Deep end 5ft, not 6 as stated (I have tall family!)??. Location great. Loved having 4bikes included. Overall, would rent again or recommend for 5-7 people. (If used both sets of bunks for kids).

This house is in a quiet location. Close to shops, park and pools. It was clean. We loved having the porch and our own pool. It was a quick bike ride to the beach and we also rode bikes to Alys one AM for donuts! We will definitely stay here again!

We've come to the Destin area for many years, but this was our first trip to Rosemary Beach. I don't think we'll ever go anywhere else! Chris with 30A Luxury Vacations was great to work with. The house was close to all of the restaurants, shops and a 5 minute walk to the beach (along the boardwalk). The house was clean and had all of the basics we needed. The set up was great for our family of 5 (3 children, ages 8, 5 & 3) and we loved having the pool right there. Highly recommend!

Overall, a great property in an excellent location. <br/>However, we travel from the UK every year to various locations in the US and this is the only property we have rented that doesn't have an information sheet for guests with basics details of locks, tv operation, water (heat slow) etc etc. It was also the 'saddest welcome' pack we've ever been provided... we have found all previous rentals to be fully stocked with cleaning products (including dishwasher tablets) , tea , coffee, extra toilet paper, salt/pepper etc as the bare minimum. <br/>We also found the floors and showers were not particularly clean on check-in which was disappointing. Lots of dark hair in the master shower. <br/>Maybe you would consider a lower cleaning fee for guests who are only staying a couple of days. We found the charge to be unreasonable for a 3 night stay, given that we cleaned the floors and showers on arrival and that a 2-3 (max) hours clean is all that would be required on our departure? Perfect size house, very close to all the restaurants and beach, easily walkable with small children, having the pool was a great add. Management company made arrival and departure quick, easy, painless. Love the trees, the green spaces, the cool and the quiet, the restaurants and family friendly amenities in Rosemary Beach. Have already recommended the house to friends and would be very pleased to stay here again.

This was our first time staying in Rosemary Beach and it was wonderful. The Soul del Sol Cottage was plenty big for my family of 4 and my brother in law and his wife. We thoroughly enjoyed having the pool at the home for us to use as we have a 5 year old and a 6 month old. Home is kept well and 30A properties was on top of anything that we needed. A nice little walk to the beach daily along with walking distance to all the shopping and dining that you could want. Looking forward to the Fall or 2015.

Native scrub oaks frame the cottage’s private back courtyard and pool area that lead to the first floor accommodations.
