Downhill and cross country biking is literally out the door, and the lakes of the Okanagan Valley are 30 minutes away. Relax in cool mountain comfort after your day of summer fun. Ample ski storage is available at the house, and the outside storage shed is stocked with sleds for use just outside our door. We have a small hobby farm with Chickens and Ducks that roam the property during the day. We also have 2 young Labs that spend a lot of time playing outside. Please let us know ahead of time if this is a problem and we will keep them away during your stay. The 10 acre property backs right on to the Trans Canada Trail and is bordered by crown land, making it a perfect place for hiking or biking. We have a seasonal creek and pond on the property with pathways cut into the field for you to enjoy. Guests are welcome to roam the property while they are staying. We ask that they do not enter the buildings on the property including the house, cabin, greenhouse, workshop and chicken coop. We work from home and are outside for the majority of the day. We are available if you need anything, but if you want privacy we are happy to leave you alone. There is no cell service or cable available here. The trailer is off the grid in almost every sense of the word. However, a phone is available for making calls and limited wifi is also available.
