Our 5BR/2BA East Austin home is designed for accessibility, with an open floor plan, wheelchair accessible spa bath and spacious yard. Make a huge meal in the kitchen, rearrange the modular furniture in the living room, or relax on the string-lit stone patio in our backyard.
We’re within walking distance of UT Austin’s campus, so you’ll definitely get a taste of local culture. Just a mile away is Manor Road, where entertainment, nightlife and dining await you.
INSIDE THE HOUSE
The high ceilings and large windows lend natural light and airiness throughout the home. The room also features artwork and mix of hanging and recessed lighting. Relax on the deep purple, modular couch fit for royalty around a flat-screen TV, and rearrange the seating however you like for your guests.
Next to the open living area is the kitchen, including an island and breakfast bar with room for three. Whip up meals with a full suite of stainless steel appliances, including a gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, and enjoy granite countertops and tons of cabinet space. Adjacent to this is the dining area with a wooden dining table with bench seating on one side and leather seats and stools on the other.
Down the hallway, you’ll find a master bedroom with a full bed, cozy accent rug and recessed lighting for added style. A chest, along with shelves on either side of the bed, let you store your things and live comfortably during your time here.
The spa-inspired en-suite bathroom has a vanity with two sinks. Take a bath in the tub, or use the walk-in shower, with glass doors. The walk-in closet is through the bathroom with more shelves, and ironing board and an iron.
The second and third bedrooms are near the entryway, each with a queen bed, side table, and reading lamp. The fourth bedroom matches these, with a queen bed and shelves for storage, and also has access to the back patio. The fifth bedroom, accessible through the master, doubles as a den and features a flat-screen TV and full futon.
The second bathroom is near the entryway, with a combination tub and shower, granite countertops and recessed lighting.
The whole house is wheelchair accessible with ramps inside, at the entrance and in the backyard. The stone patio features plenty of seating for you and your guests, a long wooden fence for added privacy and a range of potted cacti.
The house is less than a mile from a range of restaurants and entertainment on Manor Road, and delis, coffee shops and dive bars on MLK Jr. Blvd. We recommend Salty Sow, Dai Due, Eastside Cafe, and Austin’s own Hoover's Cooking for some great Southern hospitality.
UT Austin’s campus is only a 5-minute drive down the road, so you can pick up some souvenirs, take a stop at a dive bar and find some cheap Tex-Mex. After you’re done touring the city or checking out a game, grab a cocktail at Skylark Lounge, less than a 10-minute walk from the house.
For a more scenic view of the city, hike up Mount Bonnel, stop at Lady Bird Johnson’s Wildflower Center or head to Zilker Botanical Garden. We like Austin a little spicy, a little Southern and a little weird. Come see us.
The City of Austin limits occupancy to six unrelated adults.
