It is also a great area for Winter Texans and Snowbirds. There are three bedrooms, and a full bathroom is just across the hall, from two of the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a private full bathroom with double sinks. The linens and towels are all provided. This home has a fully equipped kitchen, with microwave, gas stove, coffee maker etc. There is a large dining room table and a breakfast bar. Well-behaved pets will be allowed. Arrangements for boat parking can be made by request. We do not provide beach equipment or beach towels. There is a 30 Day Cancellation Policy for a full refund. There is a $25.00 cancellation fee also. Winter Texan monthly rentals have an August 1st cancellation policy.

If you’re keen on fishing, you’ll find plenty of fishing piers to choose from here. Try Pirate’s Fishing Pier, 1.5 miles away, and while you’re there you can sample the many eateries. Dirty Al’s specializes in Cajun and seafood, and Manuel’s can’t be beaten for Mexican food. The Port Isabel Historic Lighthouse has a view that makes the climb worth it, and history buffs will enjoy the Port Isabel Historic Museum and Treasures of the Gulf Museum—all within 1.5 miles of the home.

The formal dining room has a large oak table for family style meals and seats 10 comfortably. The gourmet kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and all new cookware. The master bedroom has coffered ceilings, king bed, and en-suite bathroom with shower/tub combo. The guest bedrooms both come with comfortable queen size beds and share a bathroom. Right next to the house there are boat rentals and the Lakeway Swim Center where the lap pool can be used. Guests will enjoy gorgeous Texas scenery with parks surrounding the property that are great for short hikes or picnics. There are plenty of places to dine near the home, too. Most famous for its sunsets and food is The Oasis, less then ten minutes away. Closer by are Hudson On The Bend and the Iguana Grill both of which provide great views and food. On your way to the house, you can stop at Whole Foods in the Bee Caves Galleria. The Galleria features more dining options, shopping, and a movie theater, only a ten minute drive from the house. The home is also a short drive to Falcon Head Golf Club that takes public reservations and has several other courses near by. This home is great for in-home entertainment, relaxing, and serves as a great launch point for all of the activities the area has to offer. We call our home “La Dolce Vita”. That’s Italian for “the good life”. Our attractive 3BR/2BA townhouse on Lake Travis is a bright and spacious two story home with beautiful views of the lake. Upstairs there are two guest bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed with comfortable linen and the other has a bunk bed setup with a full sized bed at the bottom, a twin bed on top and a hidden trundle bed underneath. This second guest room sleeps three to four people comfortably. The upstairs is serviced by its own bathroom with a shower/tub combo and lots of drawer space. Staying upstairs, the kitchen opens up onto the dining room and living area with large glass sliding doors leading onto the large deck facing the water. Our living room has tons of charm with a comfy leather couch, two chairs, a fireplace and a large flat screen TV. You can kick back and relax in comfort while enjoying a movie or watching the big game. We have Direct TV and Wi-Fi for Netflix, so you’ll have plenty of options. Overlooking Pease Park, you are just north of downtown and a short walk to the UT campus, Blanton Museum of Art, Ransom Gallery, Bob Bullock Texas State Museum and 1M.. The house was built in 1931 for Llewellyn and Mary Paterson Rose, a young couple in the ranching and insurance business. Some 70 years later we bought the house. Now that we have moved on for a while we hope that you will enjoy it as much as we have. Not much has changed since the Roses' time, with the exception of a few creature comforts such as new AIR CONDITIONING, a dishwasher, washer/dryer, etc. House is just a beautiful as ever, great for any occasion.
