There are 6 bedrooms, 5 of which have king beds and large TVs, making it ideal for larger groups or anyone who values space to spread out. Comfortable leather furnishings, hardwood floors and eclectic artwork add to the LA vibe, with dashes of vintage glamor to boot. The house is close to some great bars and restaurants as well as the art deco Highland Theater. Public transport is right outside the house. Within 15 minutes you’ll be downtown, exploring the city at your leisure.
INSIDE THE HOUSE
Hardwood floors throughout set the tone in this classy home, with eclectic art pieces and antique furnishings that complement the classic layout. In the kitchen, a wide white stone sits in pride of place, with a large blackboard on which you can let your artistic side shine. Comfortable leather seats in the lounge, and a dedicated dining room, give your crowd plenty of chances to congregate and share their day.
A real drawcard of this home are the 6 generous bedrooms. The master bedroom is spectacular with a king bed, leather love seat, wooden desk with chair and a large window seat with patio views. Enjoy a huge 64” flat screen TV from the comfort of the bed or snuggle up on the love seat together. With the exception of the fourth bedroom, which boasts twin bunks - perfect for the kids! - all the other bedrooms have king beds and large flat screen TVs as well as antique furnishings to lend a touch of grace. A queen aero bed is also available in the home.
Outside there’s a private yard with flowering bushes at the perimeter, picnic style seating and even an electric vehicle charging station in the back driveway.
Highland Park is a historic artsy Eastside neighborhood, boasting great bars and restaurants such as the Greyhound, Las Cazuelas and Antigua Bread, all within a few minutes walk. Check out the art deco Highland Theater only 2 minutes down the block, and along N Figueroa Street you’ll find Spanish storefronts and artsy hipster shops as well as art at This Gallery.
Getting here couldn’t be simpler: simply hop on the ‘flyaway’ bus from LAX to Union Station, and the Gold Line will drop you right outside the home. You won’t need to bring your car: the Highland Park Metro Rail station (Gold Line) is half a block from the house. It's a 15 min train ride to downtown. Highland Park Bowl Is a Stunning Masterwork, opening just around the corner.
