Located at the foot of the Strathcona Mountian range, the Ranch is set along side the Old Iron River Road, an abandoned logging main, and the Oyster River. There are hundreds of kilometers of old logging road to be explored with the opportunity to take several day long rides. To take best advantage of the area stay at the Bunk House, The Bunk House is a totally self contained carriage house suite with a fully equipped kitchen and bath, overlooking the property and the livestock. You will have your own separate entrance so come and go as you please. There is a horse board facility on site with feed, water, and turn out available so your horse will be well taken care of and all within sight from your suite as well. If you are not a horseman, there are lots of other attractions in the area as well. Campbell River is the "Salmon Capital of the World". There are numerous fishing charter boats available for rent, or take in some of the local Farmer's Markets in the area. Comox Valley, a 35 minute drive south offers some of the best markets on the Island. Or check out some of the local wineries or the Shelter Point Distillery. Mount Washington, a world class ski and board facility is a 45 minute drive from the Ranch to their parking lot.
