Fun, modern and cozy-comfortable. Situated on higher ground in the desirable Alyki area some 300 meters above Punda Beach it is in the most scenic, south eastern part of the island directly facing Paros' lusciously green sister island of Antiparos.
A traditional, light and airy Greek house, has a peaceful, sweeping frontal view of the bay and channel between the two islands and an equally spectacular view of the dominating Paros Mountain to the rear. Due to its quiet, open farmland setting the breezes wafting through the open plan house are inevitably infused with the scents of the surrounding olive trees and grape vineyards.
From the stone paved parking area, one enters through the back patio into the open plan kitchen, dining and living room, this leading out to the casual-living front patio and fully enclosed garden overlooking the sea. Charmingly furnished in beach cottage style with marble tile flooring throughout, an archway on the left leads via a small hallway to the two, fully furnished spacious bedrooms with Greek style bathroom in between. Each bedroom has two twin-sized beds, bedside tables with reading lamps, overhead fans with center lights, individual air conditioning and heating radiators. The main bedroom has a floor-to-ceiling, fitted wardrobe, a window view and double doors opening out onto the front patio. The second bedroom has a spacious self standing wardrobe and window view of the towering Paros Mountain. In the bathroom is a Paros style shower, classic design wash basin, toilet and radiator heating. All doors and windows are of European design and both fully and part-open for ventilation while ensuring complete safety. Bug protection screens are also fitted on all.
Cyclades means "Circle" in Greek. Paros is the third largest of 220 famous islands situated in the Aegean Sea south of Athens - Santorini and Mykanos being the best known … and most crowded. Still charmingly "Old World" and unhurried, Paros is undoubtedly the most beautiful of these Mediterranean Islands - its mountain quarries famous for the translucent Parian Marble so exquisitely used for the Venus de Milo and other famous statues.
Paros offers many fun activities - hiking, snorkeling, scuba diving, cave exploring, kite surfing
or just plain laid-back sunbathing on a myriad of secluded beaches. Evenings spent watching spectacular sunsets while enjoying the delicious local cuisine & wine at one of many unique Tavernas is an added bonus.
The picturesque islands of Greece are everything you imagine them to be: crystal clear waters, glistening sandy beaches and an "Old World" lifestyle that rejuvinates the soul. And if that's what your heart desires then experience a memorable Aegean Sea vacation on the beautiful, sun-drenched island of Paros (Paa-ross)in the idyllic Greek Cyclades Islands.
