ABOUT THE HOUSE
Sit out on the backyard deck furnished with a six-person patio table, wrought-iron chairs, and a gas grill. Listen to the birds and enjoy the views of the rolling property.
Out front, a classic white front porch has four rocking chairs and more pleasant views.
Enjoy good conversation and company in the classic living room with couch, leather armchair, and bookcase stocked with reading material. A 29” flat screen TV is housed in the armoire.
Traditional open shelving in the kitchen pairs nicely with the modern counters and full-size appliances, including a stainless steel French-door fridge. The kitchen is well-equipped with cookware essentials.
For meals and game nights, the dining room’s six-person table is the perfect gathering spot. There is also a C/D player.
With three bedrooms, the two-story home sleeps six comfortably. Toile bedding outfits the master bedroom’s king bed, and large windows let in lots of light. Guests in this room will enjoy hardwood floors, Craftsman furniture, a built-in wardrobe, and a flat screen TV with DVD player.
The main-level guest bedroom includes a queen bed, Craftsman furniture, and a ceiling fan with light. Accessible from the master and the main hallway, the two full baths are adjoining, one with a jetted tub, and one with a walk-in shower.
Upstairs, a loft area with skylights and is ideal for kids. It serves as a third bedroom with twin daybed, twin bed, kids play table and chairs, and a small bookshelf.
Other amenities include flat easy access parking and a laundry room with washer/dryer.
Downtown Asheville, just 20 minutes away, offers an eclectic mix of history and Appalachian culture. You’ll find stores and retailers selling everything from art to homemade wares to records. Other highlights include the quirky Asheville Pinball Museum, Western North Carolina Nature Center, and the North Carolina Arboretum. Enjoy southern-style cuisine at local favorites like the award-winning Curate, Chestnut and Tupelo Honey Cafe.
