INSIDE THE HOUSE
A large, open-concept living/dining/kitchen combo greets you at the door. This area is built for gathering with your group, but when you want privacy, it’s easy to retreat to the comfort of your bedroom (this home has 3 of them).
In the living area, the large 55" flat-screen television extends up to 3 feet from the wall, to either face the living room or the dining table – you pick.
In the kitchen, you’ll find a brand-new 4-top range with oven, a beautiful fridge, cabinets stocked with dishes and cookware, and an island with plenty of workspace.
Upstairs, a second common area awaits you. Boredom is impossible up here: a couch, 42" HD television, cable, WiFi, board games, and access to the balcony and/or laundry room are all included. Wind down for the night, watch your favorite show, or get some work done at the second built-in desk.
The master bedroom is a masterpiece. It has a king bed, large dresser, walk-in closet, mp3 player, its own attached bath, and a door to the balcony. Did we mention the 36" HD TV and cable
The rest of your group might be jealous, but not TOO jealous, because bedrooms 2 and 3 are also a treat: each has its own 36" flat screen television, closet and dresser, cable TV, mp3 player and bedside lamps. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, and bedroom 3 and double. And though these rooms don’t have attached baths, the shared bath is just a few steps away.
The upstairs balcony is a great place to hang out and enjoy your digs. Sit at the bistro table overlooking the treetops. Or take advantage of the lovely patio seating and benches outside in the fully fenced outdoor area. Take a book and sit in the shade of the trees. Just add some food from the grill, and your Austin backyard cookout is complete.
Your dog is invited to join the party, too (fees apply).
Walk to downtown (15 minutes), The Austin Convention Center (20 minutes), Huston Tillotson University (10 minutes), UT Stadium (45 minutes). Don't feel like walking Take the Austin Metro Rail across the city in no time - only 3 blocks away. Rent a bike from Austin Petal Pushers, only 5 blocks away. Of course, taxis are readily available, too.
Foodies, try Qui, Uncorked, Takoba, Supper Friends, Blue Dahlia Bistro, Frankin Barbecue (open everyday until they run out) or one of the many other restaurants opening almost weekly.
