$150 to $250 CAD/night

We would love to welcome you to the beautiful Okanagan and especially to our home. This 2 bedroom has been completely updated, with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, including a gas stove and a refurbished bathroom. It is an entry level unit, so no steps to climb. The basement ( or walkout level as we say here) has a separate apartment, which is occupied by our daughter.
The view is great from the deck. Even on the hottest day you can sit there under the cool mister, sip one of the many wines of the region and destress. This is what life is all about. Just across what was once the worlds longest floating bridge is the hustle and bustle of downtown Kelowna. Soak up the sun on City Beach, right in the heart of downtown, or take a boat tour of Lake Okanagan. For the more adventurous, try para sailing on the lake, or take the kids to the floating play centre, that should tire them out, but don't forget the waterproof sunscreen.
Now about that wine, there are so many wineries in the Okanagan, you could spend a lifetime trying to see them all. Like the "Honeymoon Meadery", which is made from honey, going back to the times of or before the early Egyptians. Or Pyramid winery, where the wine is cured in a pyramid for its supposed mystical properties, and by the way it's a totally organic winery. I could go on, there are literally hundreds of wineries, but our daughter is the expert and she just lives downstairs. If it's different, she knows where to find it.
Just a ten minute drive down the highway is Peachland. You can park your car and stroll along the lake. Stop for a coffee and a pastry at Bliss Bakery, or visit The Blind Angular putting you right over the water while you eat. Or maybe just an ice cream cone while you watch the kids jumping off the dock ( there are change rooms).
Because we are older, we are not up to date on the zip line, or the water slides in Vernon, or the seadoo rentals at the base of the bridge, well I could go on, but you won't be bored in the Okanagan, trust me, you will be back.
We are also a pet friendly home, as long as your pet is house trained.
