Property is near water.
Pinecrest lake is a 3 minute walk from the property. The coarse sand beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. There is no dock, moorage or float anchor.
There is a nice 25 min walk around the Lake. Pinecrest Lake (private) is swimmable from May through Sept and there are several docks with ladders, however no power boats or fishing are permitted.
Ski/Board Out is a 15 minute drive to the ski resort parking lot. Ski/Board In is a 15 minute drive from the resort parking lot.
From the chalet, it is a 5 minute drive north to the Olympic/Callaghan Valley Nordic Centre turn-off, a 15 minute drive north to the Whistler Creekside skiers parking lot (free) to access Whistler and Blackcomb Mtn. ski areas & another few minutes further to Whistler Village Resort. A vehicle is required.

The first thing everyone said when entering the cabin was, 'Wow, this place is amazing!'. From the open kitchen and cathedral ceiling to the neat bedrooms and relaxing sauna, this place is tough to beat. Add in the short walk to the warm lake and the tennis courts next door and you have a little paradise.
The owners left very helpful instructions and are very welcoming. No issues at all with payment or reimbursement of the damage deposit. This cabin is definitely worth the money and we're all looking forward to staying there again!

Our family spent eight days over Christmas 2014 and we couldn't have been happier. We all felt that the location was even nicer than the pictures had displayed. From the moment we walked in we felt that the owner sincerely cared about our stay as they left some welcoming touches.

There were six adults and two small children in our party and at no time did anyone feel cramped. This spacious chalet was very cozy but allowed everyone plenty of personal space if needed. Our little 2 1/2 year old LOVED the little nook sleeping area and the 15 year old appreciated the spacious loft area to call her own.

If you are okay with a 15 to 20 minute drive to Whistler daily then this chalet comes highly recommended. Our family was perfectly fine with it because we traveled every other day or just simply got away from it all and relaxed.

Owners are fantastic people!

Our company rented this great cabin for a fun, relaxing retreat and were not disappointed! Even with 4 families (6 adults and 3 kids), there was plenty of room and we had a great time hanging out and making food in the kitchen that seemed to have every piece of equipment we could possibly need. We spent time up at Whistler mountain and Brandywine Falls, which were both a short drive up the main highway. Everyone complimented me on finding such a perfect location and we will all consider coming back in the future! Thank you for a great place to stay!

We have rented this place twice. Once in early fall and in winter. After a great hike in mountains you can dip into beautiful lake in walking distance from house and come back for Sauna. It is perfect location if you love cross country ski. Close to Callaghan Ski trails. Place is cozy and clean. Love the long dining table for gatherings.
Owner had thought carefully of everything to make sure your stay is care free.

We stayed at this home during our summer trip to Whistler. This home is super spacious with plenty of privacy for everyone! It is a very clean and has everything you need! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hopefully will be back.

We were a group of 8 and stayed in the chalet for a week this February. It far exceeded our expectations in every way! The property itself is amazing - the layout is perfect for larger groups and the sauna was a welcome treat at the end of each ski day. It was well stocked with plenty of wood for the burner and space for our Suburban and at least another car in the carport.

The location is 10/15min south of Whistler village which we actually found ideal. Being able to escape the madness of the village and head back to our beautiful cabin really made the whole trip.

Excellent communication with the owners was the icing on the cake. Overall, I can't recommend this enough.

A spacious totally renovated chalet, perfect for your Whistler getaway in any season - comfortable for 2 or up to 8 adults or family members. A wall of windows up to the 21-ft high Gothic arch peak allows lots of natural light into the open concept great room. Relax on the comfy couches and recliners and socialize with friends or family around the wood stove or dining table. Enjoy views of Black Tusk Mountain and a nearby pond.
Skiers, bikers and hikers will appreciate the cedar sauna to relax their muscles after enjoying all the incredible Whistler area terrain. A large south facing deck and several smaller decks connect you with the outdoors.The driveway and carport are level and convenient for unloading.
The upper floor master bedroom has a private deck and electric fireplace and there is a loft with mountain views that children can also enjoy as a play area. A major addition and renovations completed in 2011 included a larger master bedroom wing with 2 additional bathrooms, Great Room expansion, boot/laundry room, new windows, siding, roofing, floor coverings and decks. These changes greatly enhanced the quality and comfort of guests' stay, who enjoy the unique character of the chalet and WiFi access convenience.
Pinecrest Estates is a family friendly community which offers many recreational amenities: tennis courts close to the chalet and a private lake with docks and beaches within a few minutes walk. It is a 15 minute drive north to Whistler Village resort and a 5 minute drive to the Callaghan Valley Nordic Centre turn-off.
