Great Stay
Vacation house was great! The only thing I thought was confusing was where the pool was located. In the ad it seemed like it was in the backyard. But maybe I read it wrong. Other than that the stay was great. Never got to swim In the pool though.

We truly enjoy staying in this rental & have for several years plus planning to do the same next year. I do regret that the lighting is awful & would appreciate stronger wastage bulbs be used. If not changed, we will regrest when we arrive next year! Also, found it had not been cleaned under bed or furniture in TV room, plus cement floor was not clean. Sorry, to have to report these things but maybe next time we will find it cleaner. Appliances great & very well equipped otherwise.
Location great & happy to have gated community!

cozy!
We had a wonderful girls weekend at Casita Pina Colada! There were five of us girls, and we were comfy. Some of the comforts: new appliances, super comfortable living room for movie watching and a big table for meals and playing cards. Use of the garage was great for staging all the beach gear. Port A Escapes was great as always with text communication and the always cheerful selves.

Cozy Beach Retreat
We just returned from our vacation at Port Aransas and we stayed in the Casita Pina Colada 2VW in Village Walk. The unit itself was nicely furnished with everything we needed. The negatives were: The unit never really cooled down completely until the 2nd night. And on Saturday night, with all the units rented out, the parking and traffic were crazy. The pool was close enough to walk, however, there were unsupervised kids, which was not pleasant. We arrived on Thursday and checked out on Monday. Units are not sound proof, so you could hear traffic and people. The unit was nice, but we will find another place, with units farther apart or a house next time.

Cozy and clean place
The rental house was as described. Close to the beach, perfect size for our group, really cool place with a cozy feel/design. House was clean upon arrival and any questions were answered promptly by staff. Nice small garage for storing beach stuff. Only bad thing I could note was there was no real backyard to hang out in, small personal grill provided though.

Good rental. Nice lay out on the ground floor. The property is a little smaller than most, but we were a party of 7; one non-show. It would be really crowded for 10. It was a great stay. Wireless has a good signal compared to other properties at Village Walk. This was our 3rd year a Village Walk. The only draw back is the garage, with washer and dryer does not provide parking for a full size auto; lots of parking near by.

Nice place but could be better maintained outside
We had a great time. The inside of the house was immaculate but I do think a few things need to be addressed before the next people come in. The lot next to the casita is so overgrown with weeds which has spread onto the property. We were unable to use outside shower or the barbecue. The air conditioner was overgrown with these weeds. That probably contributed to my son getting into bed the first night and have a roach crawl up his leg. We also had to deal with numerous spiders. Both doors do not close tightly at the bottom corner which also allows bugs to get in. Also the first time we went to use the clothes dryer we had to spend 15 minutes cleaning out the dried on sand. I really hate to complain but I do believe if this property outside was better maintained I would have clicked 5 stars on all the above. I did express these complaints when I checked out to the young lady at the front desk.

We had a great time and the home served its purpose. There was no broom in the house and the vacuum cleaner didn't work so this made keeping the bottoms of our feet nonsandy a problem. I also really needed a place to sit outside to have my coffee. Considering this was the only house left in the neighborhood we were overall happy. I probably wouldn't recommend the home if visitors had other options to rent but in a pinch this was great. I do want to say that Jake was amazing in helping us get a home last minute.

Not what it seems to be as on line says
The house it self was very spacious and clean on the inside . But the parking and having access to the beach was an inconvenience. There was also the construction of a home being built right next door. The reason we rented the vacation rental was to be able to walk and not drive to the beach but unfortunately the property that we had to walk thru was private property. That wasnt mentioned on the advertisement of the rental . That was a bummer for us totally. But other than that we had a good time considering the other conditions.
