Great location Location. Pro: Short walk to two nice beaches: Hideway and Pu'u Poa. Short drive to Princeville grocery store. We were able to check in early which was very helpful. Con: construction noise from Princeville Resort property and general noise from people using Pu'u Poa beach access path, both of which are exacerbated by lack of air conditioning.<br/><br/>Those things aside, a really nicely-appointed property that's close to beaches and we would consider staying there again when construction is finished.

Perfect family getaway!! Great villa for our family of 5. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. We loved the lanai for breakfast every morning - fantastic views of the mountains and the ocean in the distance. We loved Hideaway beach right across the street (hike is short but steep - fantastic snorkeling) and Queens bath a short walk away. A couple of booth boards and beach chairs provided. The only draw back is the lack of restaurants in the area. None within walking - Hanalei is less than 10 min drive but unfortunately the road has limited access due to a land slide. Saving grace was Foodland grocery 5 min away where we bought food and cooked at home - which was just fine with us! Overall - a fantastic stay. Would definitely come back again. Great place, great location -- but loud The pros: place was spacious and very clean. All rooms -- bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, lanai -- were all very nice. Location was terrific-- walking distance from one beach on Hanalei Bay and another on the ocean, plus short drive to grocery store and some restaurants. <br/><br/>The downside was the construction noise from the hotel renovations next door (literally). M-F, starting at 6;30a, we could hear trucks driving in, and then heavy machinery and similar. Definitely quieter each afternoon, though work continued until 5 each day (less on Sat, nothing Sun). Remax did mention the construction in the description, granted; I just think they could have been more forthright and definitive that it would be loud each day. It by no means ruined our stay, but future renters should know what the deal is while the construction is happening. <br/><br/>If you think you can deal with the noise, or tend to be out of the unit during the day, the place is ideal. Great location The house was lovely, very clean and well equipped. It was a great location for walking to 2 different beautiful beaches. My only issue was the noise from the construction project near by (and the roosters!) neither of which are in control of the host but if you are noise sensitive just something to be aware of.

Wonderful vacation rental! Lovely area and beautiful rental. The only downside was no AC. It got a little hot, but not unbearable. We would definitely stay again! Thank you! Outstanding property This property was wonderful. The location is unbeatable and the ReMaxx agents were available if we needed help. The unit is located beneath the mountains and near the ocean, with views in every direction; the interior of the unit is gorgeous as well. It has stairs throughout, so it is not &#x267F;&#xFE0F; accessible. Other than that it is an amazing destination and not easily forgotten. Location, location, location. Hanalei Bay Villas is one of the finest condo projects on Kauai. Unit 1 is a completely remodeled desirable free-standing, 2-story Villa. Relax outdoors and take in spectacular views. The hotel is perched on a hillside overlooking breathtaking Hanalei Bay, sunsets over the Bali Hai Skyline from the dining room & lounge have been said to be the most stunningly beautiful in all of Hawaii.

While this is a condominium, it is free-standing with no common walls, no one above you or below you. All the privacy of a single-family residence. Upstairs has a cathedral ceiling, living room and kitchen and a half bath while downstairs there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are two Lanai’s, one is a walk out from the Master Bedroom, onto the lawn, and the other Lanai is upstairs with views of NaPali Coastline and Bali Hai, along with peek a boo views of the ocean. Access to the Pu'u Poa beach is just around the corner down a concrete stairway (254 steps to be exact). Across the street is the trailhead to the white sand beach at Hideaways. Great surf and snorkeling. Parking is at your door. Many come to see the sunset at Fort Alexander across the street from our Villa. Truly this is what Paradise is meant to be!
