Hauula Rental Guide

Hauula is a small town just past Punaluu, 20 miles from Honolulu, the state capital, on the northeastern coast of the island of Oahu between Laie and Kaawa, near Kalaipaloa Point and the Hauula Forest Reserve.

The area's lovely hills are crowned with dense forests of beautiful, symmetrical Norfolk pines. These pines shelter three wonderful hiking trails; the Hau`ula Loop Trail, the Papali Trail, and situated between the two, the Ma`akua Gulch Trail ( follows Ma`akua Stream through the gulch which and ends abruptly at little Ma`akua Falls).

At the estuary of a stream is Aukai Beach Park, a flat little beach right in the middle of town. Enjoy great snorkeling or relax on this serene white sandy beach. The beach is protected by a reef 1/4 mile out.
