Redstone Resort: Located right next to one of North America's top adventure towns, Rossland, Redstone Resort has a Les Furber Signature Course. There are three sets of tees available that you can choose from, such as the blue tees (6,396 yards), the reds (5,015 yards) and the whites (5,594 yards). The blue ones are for better players. Kokanee Springs Golf Resort: One of the finest championship 18-hole courses in Canada, this course is set in Crawford Bay. Originally designed by Norman Woods, and characterized by lengthy driving fairways and well-maintained vastness of greens, Kokanee Springs Golf Resort is said to be the best of the Kootenay golf courses. This 750-acre of thick forest, natural wetlands and lovely lakefront is neighbored by the stunning Kokanee Glacier. Another notable Kootenay Rockies golf course is the Greywolf Golf Course at Panorama Mountain Village. Settled on cliff tops, hence labeled Cliffhanger, this mountain golf course is one of the finest in the world. Designed by Doug Carrick with its 18 signature holes, the golf course showcases four sets of tees: blue (6,190 yards), white (5,365 yards), black (6,695 yards) and grey (7,140 yards). Once ranked second among the Best Public Golf Courses of British Columbia, this one is a must-visit. Other top public golf courses worth mentioning are The Springs Course of Radium Resort and Eagle Ranch Golf Resort, both located near Invermere. Windermere, on the other hand, has two amazing championship courses: Fairmont Hot Springs and Copper Point Golf Club.
Cranbrook is home to the exhilarating Shadow Mountain Golf Course. This 19-hole course is one of the longest in British Columbia with its 7,405-yard stretch.
