The tour also allows you to visit La Citadelle de Quebec or The Citadel. It is a military base and the official residence of Canadas Monarch and Governor General. It is strategically located atop Cap Diamant and offers a magnificent view of the St. Lawrence River. You can also have a great view of this river from the most photographed structure in Quebec City, The Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. Parc Jeanne dArc is another historical site where a statue of Joan of Arc sits in its center as a symbol of courage. Montmorency Falls Park is a place you have to see if you want to discover the beauty of nature in this part of Canada. It is open for visitors to explore the falls and even provides an aerial tram to carry the passengers from the base to the top of the falls.

Saint-Pierre is the most populated area on the island because it is the nearest village to the only bridge that connects the island to the other parts of Quebec. It is home to Espace Felix-Leclerc, a cultural center that pays homage to the local singer and poet.
