San Pancho Rental Guide

San Francisco, Nayarit, nicknamed San Pancho by the locals, is a quiet fishing village with white sand beaches and a tropical jungle backdrop.

Take a northbound bus from Centro Camionera in Puerta Vallarta or a southbound bus from Rincon de Guayabitos. It's about a mile from the highway bus stop to the beach. A second class bus goes right into the center of town.

There are small shops and restaurants with fresh catch of the day in the village. You can make arrangements for ocean fishing with the local fisherman after you arrive.

San Pancho was built by former Mexican President Luis Echevarria. From schools, to a hospital and the street development, his plan was a model for a third world country, a benefit for us all today.

San Pancho is 25 miles north of Puerto Vallarta: this beautiful sleepy little village is a hideaway not known among many tourists.

There is great wildlife viewing, horseback riding, shopping and golf. If you prefer to stay by the ocean, enjoy fishing, swimming, snorkeling and diving, boating, surfing, kayaking, boogie boarding and much more.
