Two mountain resorts are found in South Dakota both in the Northern Black Hills, with some of the highest elevation east of the Rockies. Terry Peak receives an average of 150 inches of snow annually and has over 450 skiable acres including 1 Freestyle Park and half-pipe. Mystic Miner is a smaller resort but offers just as much variety and challenge including a tube park. Vacation rental accommodations are only found in nearby Lead or Deadville.
