Great place to stay for 4 weeks. Place was as advertised, actually better than advertised. We've never had such a comfortable and well-equipped vacation rental unit.
Large place with 3 dedicated bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one en suite). Perfect for 4 to 6 people, and also nice to have a dedicated extra room as well with desk & office chair for use as an office (with a blow up bed, this room could also be used as an overflow bedroom easily enough). Great to have a full-sized dining table with 6 comfortable chairs as well as a few stools with backs to use if you have more than 6 for dinner. Super well-equipped kitchen. Great appliances. Internet and TV were great; nice to have fast reliable internet along with a good variety of TV channels. Good lighting in all areas was a bonus as well.
Really nice to have a garage to park and store stuff in. We didn't even find the office equipment including a printer until we were packing to leave! Beautiful patio with a small pool, although the pool is not heated, so not useful for swimming in January (but nice sound of the waterfall when the pool was self-cleaning). Good comfortable patio furniture outside including a shaded area as well as 2 portable umbrellas. We spent a LOT of time out there!
A bit isolated in North Phoenix, so not a lot of activity nearby. However, just about any shopping and other activities you might need or desire are not too far away by car. Nice quiet residential neighborhood, although there were no community "perks" as such since this is not a "resort community",and it lacks a coordinated walking path throughout the neighborhood. Located close to major highway arteries, so it's easy to get anywhere else, but rush hour traffic and road construction can certainly slow you down. Not a good place if you don't have your own transportation unless you don't mind using Lyft, Uber, or other services like that.
Wonderful hosts. They were very quick to respond to any questions, and booking was "a piece of cake".
We really enjoyed hiking through the nearby Sonoran Desert Park, and we arranged a swimming pass at the nearly Foothills YMCA complex for our guests.
Overall, we would not hesitate to book this home if we were to come back to Phoenix again. We and our guests enjoyed staying here thoroughly! We would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.
