Had a great time. Home was excellent except for a few minor things which we noted on a sheet that we left at the residence. The home was clean and well maintained. Thank you for allowing us to use your home for a wonderful weekend.
The home is well decorated and incredibly comfortable upon arrival. I wouldn't change a think inside the home. Absolutely gorgeous! Great Location! I will definitely stay here again when I return to the Cape.
Went down with 8 friends for a weekend. The place was a good size for us and never felt over-crowded. The view and the breeze up on the balcony is awesome. There is a rocky beach on one side and a sandy beach on the other. We rented a boat up at Stonebridge and anchored off the rocky beach and walked to shore; during high tide it's only waist deep 40 ft from shore. Just be careful of the low tide, it's only ~1ft deep out there!
The only down-side to the place is that they have parking space for 5 cars easily, but they let a silk tree (an invasive species, I think) grow in the middle of the parking spaces such that there is only space for 3 cars. For a family or two that would be no big deal, but for 8-10 friends coming from different places it is a problem.
Anyway, the place was a blast and I would definitely recommend it.
Inside of house ok but needs new furniture. One bathroom needs new faucet and toilet seat. Jacuzzi tub out of order. The outside was very unkempt with long grass rotting deck and a screen door ready to fall apart. Junk strewn thru yard, birdbath with stagnant water near main door which attracted mosquitoes. Mold on patio table umbrella. Trim is peeling all around the outside of house. The fire pit was nonexistent because it was overgrown with vines and it was made out of wood logs which would burn. Only good thing was the location to the bike path and town. Owner needs to work on this place.
Our family of four comfortably stayed in this two bedroom house. The space is light and open, and comfortable to spend time in. The location is excellent, with dunes, beaches and shopping nearby. The whole process of renting and getting access to the property was easy, and the Turnkey Vacation Rental communications were clear and helpful. We would highly recommend this property. .
The house was perfect. We had a large group and we had room for all of us. The beach is across the road and it's a 20 min walk to the Nantucket/Martha's Vineyard ferries. Would definitely stay here again.
This home is an excellent choice for those who want to get away. Not only is it well located on the cape for taking advantage of activities, the home itself is a destination. A pond with a dock, lot's of open space for yard games, and of course a hammock are just a few of its charms. The home is well laid out to offer plenty of room for adults and common areas for meals and relaxing in the evening..We will be looking to take advantage of this location again.
We had a great vacation at this rental property. It had all the amenities of home. It was at the end of the street on a cul de sac and the ninth hole was the backyard. The property description was accurate. It was less than a mile to the Arbor pool. You could walk but there was plenty of parking at the pool. They had a great snack bar and there was a life guard on duty. If you want the beach it is only a short drive away. For golfers it is a perfect spot. The property was clean and well maintained and the management company was excellent ( turnkey). We visited friends in Eastham and enjoyed a great dinner at Arnolds-also has miniature golf and ice cream. Brewster is not far from Sesuit Harbor in Dennis where we enjoyed another great meal. JT restaurant in Brewster had delicious lobster rolls and steamers as well as fried clams! To stock the kitchen go to Ferretti's market. Coffee, bakery, excellent deli(Boar's Head)and groceries. What I liked about the condo- you do not have to rent for 7 days. I woul
Positive: The house is exactly as pictured. Well equipped kitchen, a few day supply of toiletries, games and books. Located close to beach, shopping and restaurants.
Negative: The entry into the neighborhood was a little sketchy, but turned out to not be a problem. Although the pond was beautiful, no one could swim in it. There was a canoe, but it was chained up and not available to use.
While unpacking, one of my friends stepped on glass in the downstairs bedroom. During our entire 5 day stay, she was unable to get it out of her foot. The sheets on one of the upstairs bedrooms had 3 large stains. We obviously had to change them. In the same bedroom, we discovered a bug crawling in the bed after the sheets were changed. How many sheets were not changed? I contacted Turn Key and was told they were not doing anything about it. We asked if they would contact the owners, and we were told "probably not". We asked what they would do with the information we gave them and we were told that they wo
Perfect house for a long weekend at the Cape! One small fyi is they only have 5 channels of TV, not cable like the post advertised. Normally not a big deal at all but our weekend was quite rainy so we were inside more than we hoped. The Sox game was on but we didn't get the channel to watch it (the men were not happy). Great property though!
bottom line I would stay there again but... there were some issues with accommodations. recently done renovations especially appliances corners were cut. fridge broke while we were there, dishwashers sounds like the door was going to fall off, washer and dryer recently replaced with used machine and old machine left behind by the shower and sliding screen door also not working. property manager was very responsive to concerns and was willing to come and fix or replace things on the Friday which was our last full day. asked them to wait until the Saturday when we were checked out which they did. I imagine that these issues were addressed before the next renter arrived. Deck (porch) to sip wine or enjoy meals on the deck facing ocean (furniture shown was not there and only place to eat outside was on the picnic table on uneven terrain). it would be nice if the owner provided some chaise lounges to enjoy the outdoors but only had old dated furnishing.
This home was perfect for our two family vacation. Each family had their own side for a little privacy in the mornings and at night and a perfect place to meet in the middle outside. It was wonderfully private and walking distance to the beach. We loved this property and considered ourselves very lucky to have found it.
This home was beautiful with plenty of room and all the amenities we could ask for. We especially loved the beautiful sun porch with large table for family meals and a great back deck and private yard with a firepit and gas grill. The home had plenty of room to spread out and large areas to congregate. The downstairs was great for the kids to hang out. There were lots of movies and games available to use and 3 big screen tvs. The bedrooms were beautiful and had AC. Plenty of blankets, extra sheets and towels and even a blow up bed in the closet. There were beach chairs to use if you needed them. Close to both Chatham Center and Harwichport. Forest Beach is right down the street, a small bayside beach that is very picturesque. Just FYI Parking is limited to 4 cars, no street parking allowed. I hope to come back to this house next summer!
We had a terrific stay on the Cape, in no small part, due to our use of this beautiful home. I'm a cyclist and rode to Provincetown as a participant in the Pan Mass Challenge. Once I arrived in P-Town, my family and I stayed in this lovely home. Beside the quality of the home, we enjoyed it's central location. We ate dinner one night in Yarmouth, ate Ice Cream one night at Sundae School in Nauset, and at Schoolhouse Ice Cream (WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE) in Harwich Port. We went to Cape Cod Chip factory and Cape Cod Brewing on a rainy day (which was entertaining). We went to Chatham and walked through town, down to the Lighthouse on another cloudy day. The three clear days, we spent at Head of the Meadow, Marconi and Race Point Beaches (respectively) and loved all three. Dinner on our last night in P-Town was memorable (we ate at the Patio, another place we recommend).
