My family and I stayed one week in this very beautiful, large and comfortable home located in the best neighbourhood (Miramar) in Havana. Initially, we thought the rental of this property came without the owner and their staff and we expected to cook our own meals, etc. Basically, this property is a Bed & Breakfast (but not advertised as such). I suppose we could have insisted and cooked our own meals, but having the staff and the owner’s mother on site to cook for us was an added benefit (for an extra cost of course). The meals were absolutely Cuban and a total delight. The best food in Havana! There are plenty of transport options to go to Old Havana and the gorgeous beaches called Playas Este (Santa Maria Del Mar). We thoroughly enjoyed this place and the staff. I highly recommend this place.

Wow! Super place to stay! Having stayed in many different Casas in Havana this is by far one of the nicest. Imported foam mattress and FLUFFY pillows! The Casa was spotless,comfortable and in a nice, safe neighborhood well all places are safe. Accommodating as we all came in at different times and needed one to checkin early. We had one minor issue which was promptly fixed. While the staffs english was as limited as my spanish it didn’t pose any problems. The staff - Mileidys and Lula were truly sweet, they found out it was my birthday, decorated the morning breakfast table and a gave a me gift. A bottle of wine! WOW how unexpected and thoughtful! The breakfast were good,tasty nothing fancy just what you expect.The fridge (there is one in each room as well) well stocked with beer and water at 1&1.50 cuc respectivey and ice in the freezer. There is a night watchman, sweetest gentleman Oscar and Fabio (they rotate nights) like having your Grandfather watch over you. I enjoyed working on my Spanish with them they were willing teachers. All in all a wonderful experience for a special trip! Te amo Villa Mar!

We enjoyed our stay at Sweet Habana. The caretakers were very nice and helpful. They gave us a local phone we could use for texting. The area was great- lots of things in close walking distance. The apartment was nice and as expected. We did run out of water twice! But it wasn't the owners fault and they were quick to remedy the situation.

We stayed here and had a wonderful time! Our hosts were probably the nicest people on the planet and were so helpful! The house is in a great neighborhood, about a 15 minute cab ride to Old Havana (about 8 USD), and it was always nice to escape the craziness there and return to our oasis here. Great restaurants within walking distance. It can get a little noisy. Friday night there was a fiesta about 1/2 block away and I wished I had brought earplugs. However, we live out in the country where the only sounds are birds and we were just fine. Can't say enough good things about our trip and we planned our return while we were there. Cuba is a wonderful country, lovely and friendly people, excellent food that was very reasonably priced and huge portions, amazing history, and stunning scenery. We love the owner and her daughter! Our stay at the villa was excellent. It was a restful and safe environment. The food was great and cooked to perfection, especially for someone with special dietary needs. The staff were enormously accommodating throughout our stay. We were thankful to be provided with a home away from home! We will definitely return in the future!

A group of friends and I recently stayed at this villa in the Siboney neighbourhood of Havana, Cuba. We were there for a professional trip and were interested in an upscale house. This house was very comfortable with 3-4 bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen and an outdoor gazebo. While the house was great, it was the personal attention and service that made this a truly memorable trip. The owners handled almost every detail of our visit, from helping stock our fridge, helping us find a classic car and driver for our visit and even helping us with finding professional contacts at the local university to help us with our research trip. Our experience was outstanding and I can recommend this house without reservations. If you choose this house, please bring some nice pillows to leave behind. Good pillows are hard to find in Cuba... so please help them out and bring some nice pillows to leave behind. We also recommend bringing snacks from home as these things are very hard to find in Cuba. We loved every minute of our Cuba visit and look forward to returning again soon.
