This cabin was beauitifully decorated and the beds, couches, chairs were very comfortable. Lots of space, nice sized bathrooms and bedrooms. Two fireplaces that were so pretty. Of course the view was spectacular. The cabin is in a very quiet area so we could hear the breezes in the frees and the crickets tranquil. When we arrived the main floor bathroom toilet was not working properly...we called right away and no one contacted us or fixed it and we were able to work around the inconvenience. All in all it was wonderful.
The cabin was perfect. The kids loved playing in the creek, we enjoyed the peace and quiet of being in the back yard. The fireflys at night are quite a sight and the hot tub was great. I didn't know how much our kids would love the creek but we had to pry them out of there. We didn't see a fish but waded in the creek and ran through the yard for hours. The pool table downstairs was nice but nowhere to sit so we didn't stay down there long. However it gave us more time together & upstairs.
The area was perfect and the cabin was spacious and had everything we needed. The only thing that could have been better was the stairs down to the bottom level were a little dangerous (I have a three year old).
It's a beautiful home, lovely kitchen and dinning area perfect for breakfast in the morning. Good location, able to park the car off street, that was nice!. The property was clean and well maintained We had problems with WIFI and they were very prompt and courteous to help us with it. I would stay in this house again if I come back to Savannah. Its very pretty, I wish it was not summer and we could had taken advantage of the small patio. It was too hot in August.
The property looks very secluded but it's not. While it states that it sits on 17 acres in the description, it doesn't tell you that it sits 50 feet off the road. Some positives: great outdoor setting, canoes provided, and pet friendly. Some cons: grass was not cut, ruined a pair of shorts because someone repainted a rocking chair and did not label "wet paint", poorly stock pond ( we caught 4 fish all week and we are not beginners), and uncomfortable seating.
Don't get me wrong, it was not terrible. We just expected more based on the previous reviews.
My parents and grandparents stayed in the Almost Heaven cabin for two nights. All four seemed to enjoy the aesthetics of the interior and the beautiful greenery surrounding the cabin. There were three levels to the home: ground with a bathroom and queen bedroom and kitchen/dining/living area, upper with a king bed and en-suite bathroom and sitting area, and lower with a queen bed and bath and a pool table. Plenty of room to spread out. I believe the only real complaint was the height of the bed on the ground level. My elderly grandparents had to sleep on the lower level because the bed on the ground level was too high to get in and out of safely. I realize this cabin is not ADA compliant, but I would suggest lowering the bed on the ground level to make it safer and easier for those with some mobility issues. My grandparents could be assisted on the stairs but not in and out of the bed if they needed to use the restroom at night or something. I had the same issue in the Mountain Therapy bedrooms upstairs and g
