Unfortunately our plan for our stay at Kona Bali Kai did not happen as there was a flood from the unit upstairs which damaged our reserved unit and couldn’t be repaired by the time we were to arrive . But we will say as to the situation and how it was addressed from the owners standpoint that it was professional and they let us know and gave us a notice so we could find other options. Unfortunately my wife then became ill which made it impossible to travel . Bummer since it was our long planned 50th Anniversary that we so looked forward to . But life happens (John Lennon) and we still are thankful We have each other to share our memories on the mainland . Yes based on our booking experience with Owner Direct and the condo owners of the unit we were booked at I would recommend them both.

We absolutely loved our stay in this unit at Lahaina Shores. The most incredible mountain views. The unit itself was comfortable, clean and stocked with everything needed for our stay. The beach was perfect and the pool and hot tub were great as well. On top of the great location and unit, the owners were so lovely to deal with. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be back again. Thank you!

Everything was perfect. A lovely condo beautifully furnished with a comfortable bed.

The condo had a beautiful view of the Hilton Hawaiian lagoon, the ocean and the Ilikai pools. We had all the cookware and utensils to cook and eat in the condo. There was even beach supplies available in the closet. It was a quiet restful vacation! The condo needs some updating. The curtains and carpet were worn and the TV was small. With that being said, we would rent this condo again.

We enjoyed everything about our stay in this condo. It is in a perfect location. Very easy walk to the restaurants and shops of Ali'i Drive. Very affordable, very clean and very comfortable. It is well appointed with a Hawaiian style. Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Close, easy parking right outside your door. Loved sitting out on the deck watching the surfers, looking for whales and watching some incredible sunsets. This will be our choice for our future vacations in Kona.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maui Banyan. This studio was super clean & nicely remembered. It had everything needed for a simple, but perfect vacation for two! The bed was comfortable with quality sheets and great pillows. Bathroom towels were super soft too! Close access to parking, pool & restaurants around the corner. Beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were provided. We can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed this little cabin, you are in the Jungle waking up to wonderful sounds of wild life. I would return anytime.
Comfy bed. Check out the amazing art gallery in front of the cabin. Very private and safe. May need a little update, but thats OK with me for the price.

Great place, loved it!! Friendly folks, fully stocked kitchen, lots of niceties! The cabana is a definite plus as well.

Loved the location!!! Literally 60 feet from the beach. My husband used to live in Hawaii, so it was exactly what we expected. My kids loved it, it was like we had our own beach. The condo which was very clean had everything we needed. Beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys were a nice little treat that we didn't expect. The kitchen was fully stocked. The sofa bed was actually comfortable, my kids didn't expect that (since they have slept on quite a few uncomfortable sofa beds in the past). I slept to the sounds of waves, never have I fallen asleep so fast. Loved that it was gated, made us feel a bit more secure. Would definitely go again, but this time with no kids.

The condo was well equipped and very nice! The view was amazing and I definitely will be back. The owner was great to deal with and has quite a lovely place.

This condo was delightful. Very comfortable for two couples. Lovely lanai and convenient store and restaurants nearby. Views of garden and ocean.

This lovely home in Milolii is located down a rough winding narrow road 5 to 10 minutes away from the highway. It was an expansive one level with a surround balcony with incredible views out over the ocean. There was a pool on the ground level that was a delight for our family. The house was completely screened with ceiling fans in most rooms. The kitchen was very nicely equipped with everything you would want. Great washing machine and dryer. There were even beach chairs that could be taken to the beach. Great snorkeling at the two local beaches although the road down was again very narrow and winding. There was an issue with the dishwasher while we were there but the owners when contacted quickly arranged for repairs. Great fruit and vegie stands along the road to the house. Mosquitoes are very present so mosquito repellant is a necessity. The only negative is that it is a long way to things like grocery stores which were about a 20 minute drive down the highway. Great house especially for families that want to get away from the hustle and bustle of cities.

We originally had a 6 girls trip planned for a week. The day we left one person had their father passed away. So we only had 4 of us. We had everything we needed at the condo. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. I could have left some of my stuff home. The views was amazing. We had seen whales in the distance even tho it’s at the very end of the season. Turtles were everywhere by the sea wall. The grass is so soft and can walk barefoot. The place had spices, foil, plastic wrap, sugar, games, beach chairs , beach towels and snorkel gear. Just bring your clothes. Laundry is 2 doors down and takes credit cards. I rented a lot of places but this was the most well equipped places I’ve ever stayed. Parking is tough. If your neighbor parks wrong you can’t get in and have to park on the road. We complained and it never happened again.

Absolutely top notch!
From the initial contact to followup, this owner was spectacular. The home far exceeded our expectations for as little as we paid. The kitchen blew us away with all the amenities. Many rentals only include a microwave and hotplate. Not here! Top of the line built-ins, countertop appliances and utensils were all included. You could entertain in this place. We didn't eat out once, saving hundreds.

Living and dining room were tastefully decorated and included a huge flat panel TV in the living room. I didn't even notice the flat screen in the bedroom until we were packing to leave.

The lanai had complete living and dining sets to enjoy the sunsets. Solar power, washer and dryer, and a very secure feel is what you'll be welcomed with. Minutes from the airport and Kailua Kona Town. We will be back! Mahalo to the owner for the best accommodation we've ever had (and we've been around the world). If you're thinking about this home, look no more. You won't find a better deal.

Our apartment was a great size - two bedroom, two bathroom, in a fantastic location close to the beach and plenty of restaurants. We couldn't have asked for a better holiday experience.

The pictures of this home are excellent and convey the home beautifully. The feeling you have when you walk in the door and realize that everything is exactly as pictured, and the sense of home that you have immediately, is what is longed for in a holiday.

We stayed in this wonderful home in early May and fell into the warm aloha at once. The rental process was excellent, the owner a pleasure to deal with. The directions supplied made the house an easy and stress free drive from the airport. The attention to detail is evident, from the home, to the pool, to the landscaping, to the very detailed introductory booklet covering all aspects of your stay in the home and the area.

We toured the island, which was amazing. We enjoyed the surrounding beaches, shopping, cafes, etc, which was wonderful. We came home each night to our own personal very private oasis, which was spectacular. We played games in the great room, looking out over the pool and the city below. We swam under the stars to the sound of the waterfall, with the volcano feature casting a mesmerizing glow. We lazed on pool floats provided, under the warm Hawaiian sun. We sat quietly and reconnected, away from the distractions of the busy world. We embraced all that the house has to offer, physically and mentally. It was shear perfection.

I would, without hesitation, recommend this home for family, friends, or couples stays.
