We had such a wonderful holiday! The house and grounds are stunning, the pool was great, especially for our kids who had such a great time. But simply the best part of our holiday was the welcome that we had. Nothing is too much for our hosts and we had delicious meals made (an extra but well worth it) and served on our terrace. Venice is very easy to get to and we visited Treviso, another pretty town. But really with such surroundings there was no need to go far. Thoroughly recommend this venue !

Wonderful location so close to the blue, clear sea. Accommodation comfortable for two people - everything you need for a perfect stay. Helpful and charming host on hand but never intrusive.

This is the most beautiful place in Tuscany.
The owner and her family are the most generous people. An adorable family with the kindest of hearts. I spent one amazing week and I wish I was there for longer.. Cannot wait to return.

The apartment was basic but clean and had everything we needed for a quiet holiday, including wonderfully powerful shower for after sport activities. We felt the rental costs were very reasonable at this time of year. The apartment had beds available for up to 7 people. Lovely balcony overlooking the lake and across the lake to Lecco. Parking was easy on the road immediately under the apartment. Bar, 2 restaurants and ferry stop within 5 minutes walking distance and local supermarket just 5 minutes drive away. The owner responded quickly to any request we made, right from the day we booked and gave us a friendly greeting - with Prosecco when we arrived.

The apartment is 3 kilometres east of the town of Amalfi. Amalfi town is overcrowded on most days so better out of town than in it. The apartment itself is spacious and has two great decks that overlook the coast east and west with views a good 20 kilometres across the bay - that alone makes it special. There were only two of us in the place so the deck off the master bedroom was the morning and afternoon deck of choice. It is protected and the daily parade of boats going by is mesmerizing. There is a natural rock arch below the apartment that draws lots of boating action. The kitchen is functional and is sparsely equipped - we like to cook and did three of our four nights. We were hiking so we’re without a car - not sure you would want one as driving is difficult. Groceries are a planning event and you can bus or walk into Amalfi for fresh meat, poultry, fish and other staples. We had our driver stop in Minori on the way in to pick up groceries and meat at two different places. There is great fresh fish in Amalfi every AM and a functional barbecue on the upper deck for cooking. There are also two restaurants a short walk up the Main Street from the apartment - we tried one - the pizza, fish place and it was excellent. Make reservations. It was a lovely visit and by far the most beautiful location of our 4 stops along the coast. We would definitely stay here again.

A spacious and very comfortable country house, lovingly restored and exceptionally well equipped. Superb views, particularly from the corner terrace, perfect for enjoying an apero and watching the sun go down! The owner is very friendly and helpful, his mother, Gabriela charming. In addition, we were spoilt by the fresh figs and grapes.

Perfect location and really close to San Gimignano, and easy drive to Florence, Siena, and Pisa all within about an hour. Directions to the villa are excellent. Host was very friendly, came early to meet us, and each day someone comes in to maintain the pool and gardens. Very private location in between two residential villas and on the small road from San G to Uignano.
Pros - beautiful views over the Tuscan hills into the distance, very clean, well appointed, secure, private, excellent sized pool, spacious villa could sleep 6 at a push with three doubles (one of which is sofa bed) and there were two single beds available too. Mosquito nets over windows are very effective - didn't get any bites overnight! Two kitchens, with main kitchen with large fridge/freezer and cooker, no microwave. Three separate showers and toilets. Utility room with washing machine and iron.

Cons - no air conditioning in bedrooms but ceiling fans and portable fan available - don't take your pyjamas! Only one bath towel per person, and no pool towel which would have been nice. House is on three floors, so if you don't like stairs without handrails this is not the villa for you.

Planning to go back again next year to this beautiful villa. It's a magical place for a holiday.

Loved our stay. The owner was very helpful in providing all the info we required before our stay. The villa is spacious, completely private, well appointed, and has some of the most special views we have ever seen. For a quiet, off the beaten track place to stay while near to all Tuscany has to offer, this place cannot be beat. It is ideal for large family or friend gatherings. Looking forward to returning soon.

Oasi delle Salinelle is a large well appointed Sicilian villa set in a very large garden full of lemon trees, olive trees and beautiful flowers.
The outside space is fabulous with large shaded patio and an open first floor terrace that looks out over the lemon grove. The property is well appointed with large kitchen, lounge & dining area, 2 shower/toilet rooms, 2 cosy double bedrooms and a twin bedroom. Note no air conditioning. There is a secluded path leading directly to the sea shore not more that 5 minutes walk through the lemon groves and garden. The beach immediately accessed from the villa grounds is sandy and unspoilt where we could bathe and enjoy evening picnics. We were there at the start of June and the beach was pretty and fairly quiet, there are two small lidos on either side of the seashore at the back of the property but not intrusive. Nearby is a small restaurant and lido bar to relax and enjoy a cool drink and some pleasant food.
The owner speaks English and is a wonderful, charming and warm host who went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect .
Note there are 2 or 3 other small cottages in the grounds but they were not near the villa and did not intrude on our privacy. The villa is located right on the small road leading to the quiet village of Salinelle so please expect some noise from passing traffic at various times in the day also being set in such lush vegetation you may want to prepare for mosquitoes, ants etc. as you wander through the grounds.
There is a nearby train station so you can get into both Cefalu & Palermo without the hassle of taking a car into these popular and busy places if you want to. I would certainly recommend this villa to my friends!

So what do you imagine when you think of Tuscany? Rolling hills with ancient walled towns, woodland, cypress trees, wild flowers, butterflies, vineyards, olive groves. This cottage has it all! The view across to Montepulciano is simply stunning. Montefollonico, a 13th century gem, is in walking distance and has great restaurants - 13 Gobbi is recommended. And you can get great take away pizza at Il Botteghino - a 10 minute drive. Close by are Pienza, Montalcino and Torrito di Sienna - all worth a visit. And don't forget to tour a winery.
The cottage itself is lovely. Comfortable, full of character, simple but adequate kitchen (stone sink!), good showers and a lovely terrace for outside eating. Roe deer barking in the distance, nightjar churring in the meadow.
We simply couldn't imagine a better place to chill out, kick back, and experience the Tuscan hills.

This charming apartment clings to the hillside above Casarza Ligure offering spectacular views of the mountains and villages the region is famed for. The ever changing sky makes every day a different masterpiece to savour. The apartment has a large light living kitchen and dining room with two double doors to the terrace, which gives the same size living space outdoors. The bedrooms are cool and comfortable and the bathroom has modern fittings and plenty of hot water. The charming owner and his family live close enough to be helpful but not too close! There is a second sun bathing area with trees for shade which leads to a hot tub, with a view to die for. Parking is secure in the gated compound, shared with one other upstairs neighbour, who visits only occasionally. You need a car to get about these hilly treasures.
Close by is the seaside resort of Sestri Levante, which boasts bars and restaurants alongside beach clubs and churches.
I would recommend this villa without hesitation and will be going back!

This was an ideal villa for 7 of us on our two week stay in San Gimignano. The villa is very well equipped and located in beautiful grounds with wonderful views. The house is divided into two self-contained units which can sleep four each. It was an easy walk uphill to San Gimignano. The owners live on the property and were very friendly and accessible, providing lots of local knowledge, maps and guides.

It was the perfect place to stay.
The apartment is in a wonderful location and is very tastefully decorated. The balcony and dining terrace were so beautiful. We can't wait to come back.

Only minutes away from San Gimignano, this cottage was everything we hoped for. It was spacious, well equipped and the view was to die for. Every morning when we opened the shutters, looking out over vineyards and olive groves towards the Towers of San Gimignano we were in awe of the breathtaking landscape all around us. But it was not only the landscape that made our stay special, it was also the lovely, well kept grounds of this beautiful estate which made it so enjoyable. It was obvious that the owners took great care of their property. The attention to detail could be seen everywhere.

I need to mention that I am mobility challenged and that even the 2 steps into the Cottage would have been very difficult for me. The owner immediately created a ramp so that I could enter the Cottage with my scooter. This was beyond the call of duty and much appreciated. Many thanks to the owners for their help and caring.

This apartment is close to everything on both sides of the Arno. Lots of room in large bedrooms and living spaces. We were very warmly greeted and enthusiastically told about great local gelaterias and restaurants. Also highly recommended is the small gelateria in the square below.

We recently returned from our trip to this property and wanted you to know how much we had enjoyed staying there and how perfect it was for us. We met the owners a few times and enjoyed their company very much... I will certainly have no qualms about using your company again if we go on that type of vacation Thank you very much.

We very much enjoyed our 2 week stay. Tereglio is a charming small village on top of a small mountain that has wonderful views of the two valleys below and adjacent mountains. The village has an excellent trattoria that we went to every day of our stay except for Mondays when it was closed.
This is a charming old house with wonderful views. The house is well equipped and the layout is such that the four of us (two couples) could each have a bedroom and bathroom on different floors.
Two things that visitors need to know is that the last mile of the road leading to the house is single track with sheer drops along many stretches of a winding road. Also the paths and roads in Tereglio have many steep gradients.

Beautiful, well maintained and equipped with the most comfort.
Small flowery enclosed garden with comfortable lounge chairs, possibility to eat outside and view of the green hills.
If desired, the neighbour cooks. Price and size of the menu can be discussed. Recommended!
A downside was the poor WiFi connection.
The owner did everything possible to minimize inconvenience.
A must for those who want to stay in a typical village and unwind.
Own transport advised!

Mooi, netjes onderhouden en van het meeste comfort voorzien.
Kleine bloemrijke afgesloten tuin met comfortabele relaxzetels , mogelijkheid om buiten te eten en zicht op de groene heuvels.
Indien gewenst kookt buurvrouw. Prijs en grootte van het menu zijn te bespreken. Een aanrader!
Een minpuntje was de slechte wifi-verbinding.
De eigenares deed al het mogelijke om de hinder te minimaliseren.
Een aanrader voor wie in een typisch dorp wil verblijven en tot rust komen.
Eigen vervoer aangeraden!

What a view! This apartment is in a prime location for opening the shutters in the morning and going "wow" at the spectacular view of the town and seaside (just like in the photo)! Very convenient location for restaurants, bars, supermarkets, shops, and beaches. Easy walk from the train station, bus stop, or the ferry. On the flip side, the street below is very busy during holiday season and the car/scooter/reveler noise carries into the front-facing bedrooms despite the double glazed windows (a little more sound insulation around the frames might help). Very friendly owner who was always available to help. Note however that the agent does not speak English.

This apartment is close to the inland border of Castellamare, so you can be on the motorway to Palermo, Trapani, or the South Coast in a matter of minutes. It also means you are spared the narrow streets of the old town. We found the apartment very comfortable for the four of us, and there was room for another friend who sadly had to cancel her visit.

We didn't need to try out the air conditioning (it was April), but the plant seems well specified, and was able to provide backup heating on one cold evening.

The owners (who live above this rental) were very helpful; they showed us where to park (behind the building, out of sight from the street). This parking is not suitable for low-riding sports cars, but I had no trouble making it onto the drive with a rented Renault Clio.

If I were returning to the area, I would have no hesitation (well one; there is no dishwasher) in taking this apartment again. And eat again (for pennies) at the Old Station Pizzeria, a couple of hundred yards down the hill towards the town center and supermarket.
