We stayed in the property for a week in Summer 2016.
What can I say?.. Mixed feelings.
The location - in the centre of Kelowna, next to the most luxurious hotels and apartments, close to the beach, restaurants and other fun stuff - check!
The building - new, well run, secure, with an underground gated parking and all the amenities such as an outdoor pool with two hot tubs, a party room, a fitness centre etc. - check!
A quiet area - well... relatively quiet; but for a noisy fountain by the skyscraper across (I really don't get who invented that fancy stuff with roaring falling water right at the building that does not let people sleep with windows open) and some hum coming from the sawmill nearby, it was still relatively quiet, so - OK, check!
However, once you step into this apartment, you'll quickly find out that the owners tried to save on everything. Cheap cutlery and utensils (a-la "what wasn't available at a dollar store came from Walmart"), lots of missing items. If you decide to stay in the property don't forget to bring your hairdryer (!!!). I tried to remember the cheapest motel I ever stayed that would not have a hairdryer... and I couldn't. An ancient CRT (a thick, non-flat one) TV; I haven't seen those in last 5-6 years. But the most frustrating thing was the Internet connection. WiFi was there, nominally... but it was almost useless. Saying that it was slow is saying nothing. I measured the speed with speedtest.net several times. In about 1/3 of the attempts it timed out unable to complete the test. The rest of the tries showed some 0.23Mbps down and 0.08Mbps up - good for those dialup times 10-15 years ago. It was hard to check the email, not even speaking about using Skype. Contacting the owner did not bring any results, so I assume that Internet speed was "a feature".
All in all, when renting a condo, you would expect feeling as in a good hotel plus some benefits (especially at the price). Not in this case, unfortunately.
Stayed with family - Would not recommend to friends and family
