Our family was unsure of where we were going to be able to stay and our vacation time was moved due to some unforeseen circumstances. We were connected with the owner of this property and he was very responsive, getting us the maps and keys as soon as he received the check which was less than a week prior to the time we would use the property. He stayed in contact with us throughout the process.
The property itself was suitable. We have three kids and the space was comfortable. It is close to Winter Park, Grand Lake, and Rocky Mountain National Park which we enjoyed through the time we were there. The condo remained quite warm during our stay and it wasn't unusually warm there for the time of year. There were a couple problems with lights being out and one of the shower areas leaking (a sign for guests indicated this so it was manageable). Otherwise, it worked well for us.
The pool and hot tubs are directly across the street and were a good place to relax at the end of the day. The workout area does not open until 9:00 or 9:30 in the morning which limits what we could use there since we were out the door much earlier each day. The pool closes fairly early too.
We would definitely stay here again and appreciated working with the owner.
Stayed with family - Recommended to friends and family
We found this rental in Steamboat Springs to be one of the best vacation rentals we have ever used. The condo was immaculate and well appointed for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. The back deck was very private and quiet. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
When you come to the Rockies most want the "cabin" like feel. Well, this cute place had it! Wooden cabinets, hard floors, a great view of the mountains surrounding. I highly recommend this VRBO to anyone wanting a little getaway! The place was so clean and had everything and more. My kids were completely entertained for 5 days with games, winter gear to play outside and their own small tv area...which they loved! The neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood so safe!
This was a great location, great area to hike and fish. The unit itself was dated, but ok. A little strange that owners belongings were in the closet, felt somewhat like we were intruding. Carpet in master in need of cleaning or replacement, lots of stains. Did appear that cleaning staff did a good job .
My family stayed at this amazing home for two nights for my dad's 70th birthday celebration. We had 14 people comfortably accommodated with plenty of room and amenities for everyone. The house was very clean and the kitchen was large and had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. Excellent choice for a large gathering near Breckenridge!
Great place to stay, views and location cannot be beat. It was a little challenging to get into unit, stairs, elevator, and multiple key fobs/parking to get in and settled, but once acclimated, this felt routine. Beautiful condo. Perfect size and great extras: like heated floors in the bathroom. Well stocked kitchen and movies that we enjoyed. Would absolutely recommend this unit and turnkey properties. Very attentive throughout reservation and by phone.
You can disregard any negative comments on earlier posts. This home is husband builds homes so we had a chance to appreciate all the details that went into building this house...Views are to die for.Furnishings are top notch,Beds are sooo comfy. If the owners ever wanted to sell a share in the house we would be interested...Thanks again for letting us rent your beautiful home.
The property is beautiful, quiet, well equipped and very comfortable. The only issue we had was with parking. We were told we had to park on the street because of sidewalk construction, yet the designated parking spot was used every night by people staying in the other unit. Luckily street parking was not an issue in September.
The house was a great size for our party and we were very comfortable. It was very clean inside. But here were a few issues. 1. the kitchen utensils and pots need attention. the pots had dangerously loose handles, many utensils need to be replaced, the pot holder had a hole in it and I burned my hand using it 2. The garage trash and recycling containers need to be cleaned up. The recycling bin was disgusting. 3. We found it very difficult to get in the home. The entrance instructions were very confusing and we had to call for help. 4. There were bat dropping all over the front step and I know they can carry rabies. For such a big home there needs to be more dining seating.
Overall, it was great. However why in the world aren't there any towel bars in the bathrooms? No where to put wet towels? And the front door needs leveling. Very difficult to close properly. Same for the shower door. It needs leveling. Otherwise a great spot.
Our family really enjoyed our stay in Timber Falls#1903. The condo was clean, well kept, and stocked with everything needed, that you could think off. We felt like home.I would come back whenever we are in that area. We really enjoyed Vail, it's beautiful, and had a lot of fun in the Epic Adventure Park at the top of the mountain. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! Diliara R. from Louisville, CO
After arriving, opened the door, my wife went in, I went back to car to unload. I went into the house and discovered my wife fell down the stairs. I took her to the emergency room in Frisco where they discovered a concussion and broken neck. So our vacation was to stay in the house while she recovered enough to fly home. The house was fairly dirty to begin with and came with no instructions to dispose of garbage etc. called and text messaged to get instructions and that took some time. Came equipped with dishes, pots and pans, etc. very quite location and convenient to the town. If the house would have been clean we would have been more satisfied.
We absolutely loved our stay at this property - the house was very clean and in great condition. The kitchen was updated and great to use. The other rooms were not so updated, but still nice. We would definitely come back.
