My friends and I stayed here for a week and it turned out to be the perfect place for us. The owners are very friendly. They live very close so when we needed anything they were right there to communicate. And at the same time we feel like coming back to our own home every day in our own quiet space. The view is awesome. Very reasonable price for the location, view, and facilities. There is a bakery down the road where you can purchase cooked or ready-to-cook home made meals. Thank you for providing us this beautiful and comfortable place. The best I've found in the area so far!

We could not fault anything relating to our accommodation. Location is great! The owner is the most personable and helpful of hosts!

We enjoyed our 1 week stay and were not disappointed with the amenities. Our hosts were accommodating and our labradoodles enjoyed the 3 acres surrounding the house. The pool was clean, the carriage house was comfortable and recently updated. Plenty of parking to accommodate our boat as well. A nice view of wood lake, a short walk away. This area is destined to become a popular all season vacation with the railway line being converted into a cycling trail.

Had a wonderful week here. House was well equipped. Great location with several beaches nearby. Owner was very accommodating and helpful.

This was a last minute family vacation booked quite late in the season, so we were pretty lucky. The property is beautiful with high end finishings and appliances and well furnished. The master bedroom and ensuite bath are nicer than the ones we have at home. The garage easily accommodated our 2 vehicles (van and SUV). The bunk beds in the third bedroom were surprisingly comfortable. There was a Nest thermostat that was easy to control and the AC was almost too efficient. The owner was really good to deal with and the ease of check in/check out were really appreciated. Very clean inside. Good neighbours. The only negative for us were out of the control of the owner. We were there immediately following one of the worst floods in recent memory, and during a really bad wildfire season. Beautiful area central to the North Okanagan to use as a base for wine tours. Wood Lake is a very nice lake for boating. We would definitely come again.

We had a wonderful time in Lake Country. The owners are such beautiful people, hospitable, knowledgeable, caring and very sweet. We had fresh fruit waiting for us and shared many laughs and stories with them. The area has much to offer with various wineries and lovely beaches.

This rustic waterfront property was exactly what we needed. The community is great with lots for the kids to do. Not to mention the beautiful view and easy access onto Kalamalka Lake. We will be back!

This was our first time using Owner Direct. And we very, very pleased. Everything worked like clock work. We booked the one bedroom on Lake Okanagan at Okanagan Centre. The suite has a perfect location, across the road from the beach and boat launch. The accommodation was more than we expected and the photos, as good as they are, don't do justice to what the rental was. The hosts were more than accommodating. The suite was fully equipped, right down to measuring spoons in the kitchen. Extremely clean. A huge bathroom, patio and flat screen TV. Quiet neighbourhood. All of these things added up made for one of our best holidays. And the best BC cherries were found in a local orchard's fruit packing/storage building just up the street behind the old general store.

My boyfriend, his son and girlfriend, and another couple who are friends all stayed at this cabin in mid September. We are from the North (above 60 degrees), so the temperatures were great for us. Not too hot, beautiful time of year. Very little action on the lake at that time. We have flyboards/jetboards, etc. with our 3 seadoos and the accommodation and dock were amazing, as were all the provided water toys.

We spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the weather and beautiful scenery, but the cabin was also great for us! Everything we needed. We all have experience with solar arrays, pumps, wood stoves and propane, so this was a perfect fit for us! The facilities were great and the grounds were fantastic. Everything we could have asked for.

One of the best things was being quite a ways out of town. Best way to have a vacation! No WiFi was great, would have been better if there was no cell reception, but I'm a bush girl and I don't like cell phones :) We saw a gorgeous buck, early in the morning as we were leaving the park on our last day. Perfect!

Only issue was the wasps, but we soon learned how to deal with those guys! Don't drink Okanagan ciders on the docks during wasp season! (Or rum and coke.)

We'd totally come back again! Highly recommend to those who'd like to unwind and get away from the world. I have to say, it was great having the seadoos. I recommend you bring a watercraft and find out where you can unload them ahead of time. We found two places, one in Coldwater and one just around the corner from our cabin. But, this isn't necessary, just more convenient. We could get into Coldwater in about 4 minutes via seadoos.

The road in is a one lane road but it's in really good shape and has a lot of spots to allow another vehicle to get around. After you take it once, it's easier. If you're towing anything in... don't have an extra long truck! Still doable!
