This was our 5th villa in St. Maarten. I would rank On Island Time as 3rd on the list. It was very clean, had a nice pool and a decent view. There were some things, however, that created a few issues.
The sound system was far from advertised, as we never got it operating and simply used our cell phones. The toaster was nearly useless and the grill was a lump of rust.
The pictures and property description were pretty accurate, but didn't disclose a couple of key issues. The driveway was one of the worst we've encountered, with a very sharp angle at the entrance and a dip that easily allows you to bottom-out your car. And, the patio has no covered area for use in wet weather. Fortunately, our weather was quite nice and the table umbrella worked out fine.
The wild cats, which we fed each day, were a pleasure to have around. And, on our last day, we were visited by 3 monkeys.
