The property was just what we were looking for: Lots of room to spread out, three bathrooms, and pretty nice -- but no so nice that you’re afraid to touch anything. It’s a bit worn in spots (pool table’s looking rough, faucets are loose, carpeting downstairs is stained, bad icemaker, etc) but really, that’s to be expected in a place that sleeps 20 for $650 a night. If you want 5-star accommodations, Nemacolin is down the road. If you want a place where 20 people can sit at a campfire and make a little noise, you’ll put up with a few inconveniences. The location is great too – close to Ohiopyle, Ft. Necessity, biking and hiking trails, pizza shops, etc.
Among the inconveniences I mentioned:
-Wasps. Yes, this is the great outdoors, but there was at least one nest that was visible. Lots of wasps congregated near porches and patios. Not a major issue, but it could be if you are allergic.
-TV. Other reviewers mentioned this too. For us it wasn’t an issue because we had great weather and
