The office staff was friendly. We were assured over the phone the cabin was clean. Upon arriving there were crumbs on the table, beer bottle tops beside the whirlpool tub, spiderwebs inside and out. The chairs on the porch needed spiderwebs cleaned off before you could sit on most of them. The kitchen items were not very clean as well and most needed to be replaced. The washer was a mini size, which made it hard to keep the towels washed and ready for use each night. We had 11 people staying for a week.
Aunt Bugs Cabin Rentals was so much fun to hang out in with our family and friends! Playing pool and relaxing in the hot tub was made it even better! The cabin was beautiful and kept very clean! My daughter and I left a couple of items there and Carol went above and beyond to help us get them back and we appreciate that so much! I would recommend them to all of our friends and family!!! ??
The cabin was nice with all neccesities that worked well. It is right on the road/drive and needs a screen door so you can enjoy the outside without the bugs. The cleaning fee of $60 is excessive considering that they require you to clean and put away all dishes, empty the trash, and collect all towels to a specific place, etc. You are assessed additional charges if you do not do your chores. Sixty dollars for making 2 beds and sweeping is excess8ve.
Great location as it is just as you enter Gatlinburg, so it works well if you want to go there or Pigeon Forge. Although it is next to several cabins, we were never disturbed. It is right on the water, with steps to walk down to creek, but 3 cabins down is a flat path easier for small ones, or dogs.Everything was great, except on the last day a man showed up yelling at us because we were still parked there (though no longer using the cabin) after the 10am check out. We reported him and the company was very kind but stated they did not know who he was, so you shouldn't have the same issue, just an oddity we incurred.
I have visited Misty Meadows several times in the past 4 years. It is just the perfect place to stay. It has always been so clean. It is very peaceful in this cabin, and so convenient to all the activities near Pigeon Forge. I will plan to stay in this cabin on oll my vacations if at all possible
It wasn't as secluded as we would have wanted however it was a great getaway which is what we were looking for. Being at the stop sign there was more traffic noise then we wanted. The hot tub needs a step to get into, I am short so I had difficulties getting in it. All in all it was a very nice cabin. Highly recommend visiting Anakeesta in Gatlinburg when you visit, beautiful views, the zip line is great, the walk in the trees is phenomenal.
This is our second stay at this cabin because is really clean, has a beautiful view, is in a secure location and is near downtown. We plan to go back this Winter.
Our experience was very good. Our only complaint would be that the cabin needed some updating, the mini blinds needed to be replaced and the carpet upstairs also needed to be replaced. The hot tub cover also needed to be replaced.
Everything was wonderful! The cabin was just the right thing for 4 adult sisters to be together and still have space. Good location for Townsend and Pigeon Forge. Good exit through Maryville on heavy UT weekend.
It was a great getaway weekend with tons of relaxation. Was not expecting the steep hill that was next to impossible for getting luggage into the cabin. The cabin itself was wonderful. Jacuzzi tub, hot tub, and the amenities worked. Enjoyed the pool table, just didn't have any pool sticks with tips or chalk.
This was a great quiet stay. The fireplace was amazing. The bed was super comfortable. Easy to find, and just nine miles from everything! Good cell signal. Clean, new and modern!
Everything was good with our stay. The only thing we saw as a problem is the lighting at night when approaching the steps to the deck. There are some solar lights located on the deck but they did not work/were not on & it was a difficult to see the steps. Also the motion light at the entry door does not stay on long enough to be able to see to enter code.
Wonderful time renting the Tree House cabin. The location was perfect. Will be back for more of what this wonderful Motorcycle riding state has to offer and will be staying at Aunt Bugs cabins!
Besides the brown unusable water, the insufficient a/c capacity, and the thousands of Brown Recluse spiders that have a perpetual web around the perimeter of the the porch, it was fair. When we arrived the outside temperature was 92 and the a/c was set on 78 degrees with no windows open or fan going. The interior of the cabin was 87 degrees as the top windows magnified the heating of the cabin as if they were portals to ****. A stupid note was next to the thermostat warning us not to turn the a/c below 68 degrees or we will be fined. The joke was on us for the thermostat was rigged not to go below 70. We set it on 70 and at approximately 5 am the next morning the inside temp dipped below 80. Apparently Aunt Bug was unaware of our arrival, though they gladly took our money 1 month in advance, and did not consider turning on the a/c in advance of our visit, so we could have some comfort our first night. The a/c finally caught up to the 70 degrees we set it on on our departure morning though. Guess they have to
Location was great and easy to find. Cabin was on a nice lot. The furnishings were tired and the mattresses horrible. There was foid left in fridge by previous guests but the overall cleanliness was very good.Appreciated the motion detector spotlights very much. The view was absolutely spectacular.Except for the few things mentioned stay was still nice.
