The office staff was friendly. We were assured over the phone the cabin was clean. Upon arriving there were crumbs on the table, beer bottle tops beside the whirlpool tub, spiderwebs inside and out. The chairs on the porch needed spiderwebs cleaned off before you could sit on most of them. The kitchen items were not very clean as well and most needed to be replaced. The washer was a mini size, which made it hard to keep the towels washed and ready for use each night. We had 11 people staying for a week.
Aunt Bugs Cabin Rentals was so much fun to hang out in with our family and friends! Playing pool and relaxing in the hot tub was made it even better! The cabin was beautiful and kept very clean! My daughter and I left a couple of items there and Carol went above and beyond to help us get them back and we appreciate that so much! I would recommend them to all of our friends and family!!! ??
This is an incredible house - 3 bedrooms upstairs, each with their own bathroom. Downstairs you have spacious open kitchen / living room with it's own powder room and the ability to open fully (via garage doors) to the deck, full granite outdoor bar (with wine fridge and wet bar) and the plunge pool.
I've seen some of the other reviews. To be extremely clear - yes, the people who live across the street aren't the typical rich VRBO/AirBnB customer - it's subsidized ('public' ... *gasp* 'projects') housing.
That said, the home is designed such that you generally aren't using the street address entrance at all, with the back-of-lot parking - during a week stay, we probably only opened the 'front' door a few times - and while the folks across the street aren't wealthy like you, it's not a 'dangerous' scene at all. The times we used the front door (to walk to the 1-block-away gentrified bar/restaurant strip) we waved to the families and they waved back. As long as you're ok with peo
Great location as it is just as you enter Gatlinburg, so it works well if you want to go there or Pigeon Forge. Although it is next to several cabins, we were never disturbed. It is right on the water, with steps to walk down to creek, but 3 cabins down is a flat path easier for small ones, or dogs.Everything was great, except on the last day a man showed up yelling at us because we were still parked there (though no longer using the cabin) after the 10am check out. We reported him and the company was very kind but stated they did not know who he was, so you shouldn't have the same issue, just an oddity we incurred.
I have visited Misty Meadows several times in the past 4 years. It is just the perfect place to stay. It has always been so clean. It is very peaceful in this cabin, and so convenient to all the activities near Pigeon Forge. I will plan to stay in this cabin on oll my vacations if at all possible
It wasn't as secluded as we would have wanted however it was a great getaway which is what we were looking for. Being at the stop sign there was more traffic noise then we wanted. The hot tub needs a step to get into, I am short so I had difficulties getting in it. All in all it was a very nice cabin. Highly recommend visiting Anakeesta in Gatlinburg when you visit, beautiful views, the zip line is great, the walk in the trees is phenomenal.
We had a wonderful time in this lovely cabin. It was so spacious and well appointed. The only thing missing was Wifi which was a disappointment. We also suggest marking the cabins better. It's difficult to see at night. There are no street numbers on the property so when using GPS it's difficult to find.
Absolute Heaven was absolutely what we needed.! Love the amenities, location, the view, the decks overlooking the pond with abundance of rockers, table/bench, felt so at home. Owners have provided everything to make your stay the best. Not far from everything. We would definitely stay here again.
Could not have asked for better accommodations at #1716 Rainbow's End Lodge for a group of 8 family and friends. Good times and wonderful memories made. Professional and courteous staff as always. We've been staying with Chalet Village for many years and already made reservations again for next year. Thanks again!
This was a girl's trip that ended up being just what we all needed. We initially booked another property with another company, and when we arrived at that property it was totally unacceptable, and we had to find a hotel room for the night. The following morning, I contacted Chalet Village after many attempts to fine another property, and Kathy in their office was so nice and helpful in getting us in another place where we felt comfortable. We cannot thank her and Chalet Village enough for stepping in and making our trip a beautiful experience after all.
Everything was wonderful! The cabin was just the right thing for 4 adult sisters to be together and still have space. Good location for Townsend and Pigeon Forge. Good exit through Maryville on heavy UT weekend.
It was a great getaway weekend with tons of relaxation. Was not expecting the steep hill that was next to impossible for getting luggage into the cabin. The cabin itself was wonderful. Jacuzzi tub, hot tub, and the amenities worked. Enjoyed the pool table, just didn't have any pool sticks with tips or chalk.
