Our family of 10 (parents, kids, grandkids) were in Sun Peaks for the June Foam Run, mountain biking, games in the evening, and general catching up, with everyone having very busy lives. Sun Peaks was the perfect central location for our group, with a great village that is very walkable.
This house checked all of our boxes! Having 3 bedrooms on the upper floor worked out perfectly for quiet time for kids off to bed early, or napping (kids or adults ;-) . The master bedroom was perfect for the family who needed to set up a playpen, and had a toddler as well. The other two upper bedrooms were perfect for couples, and it's always nice to have a bedroom on the main floor. The bedroom on the lower floor was very spacious and quiet. Everyone having their own bathroom was great!
The enormous dining room table, just off the open concept kitchen, was jaw dropping. We fell in love with it and loved how we all fit around it for breakfasts and dinners - lots of lively chatter with no bumping elbows! The kitchen had all the dinnerware, cutlery, pots and pans, etc, to meet all of our needs. There wasn't a time that we looked for something that wasn't there!
The hottub was very private with easy access. The balcony is huge, with beautiful views and lots of room for everyone to hang out while BBQing was being done. We were also lucky enough to be at Sun Peaks during a full moon and the view from the deck (and through the huge bank of windows), was amazing (and often stopped our game of Pictionary when someone commented on it!).
To sum up, a perfect family weekend was had. Anyone travelling with large groups knows how important the accommodation is - space, comfort, cleanliness, location, etc. This house has it all. The fact that you are also dealing with an extremely high quality customer service driven property management team is just icing on the cake, these folks are exceptional. I would highly recommend this property.
