Description
The 14th century spiral staircase leads you to the spacious second floor penthouse Apartment of Angels, recently renovated and decorated in elegant style with modern conveniences. The roof terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of rosé or two whilst watching the sun set over the village rooftops and surrounding Provence. This large apartment was once the presbytery for the clergy of the church at the time when the popes were in Avignon. During its recent transformation the original 14th century stone windows, archways and timber beams were discovered and now feature in this magnificent apartment in the heart of beautiful Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. Decorated in Provençal style and furnished with both new and antique pieces the oak floors in the spacious living dining area and bedrooms combine well with the exposed stone walls. The kitchen has classic timber and travertine finishes and is well equipped with modern appliances including Nespresso coffee machine. Each of the three bedrooms has a comfortable hotel quality bed with crisp cotton sheets, Provençal bedcover and adequate storage for your stay. Each bedroom has a travertine ensuite with large walk-in shower, basin and toilet, white fluffy towels and quality olive oil soaps provided. Ideally located in the historic centre of St Rémy, footsteps to everything in the village - shopping, cafés, restaurants, bars, sightseeing in town, museums and galleries. Bakeries, butcher, grocery supermarkets and wine stores are within 50 metres. It's just 20 minutes drive to Avignon TGV, 50 minutes drive to Marseille airport, 30 minutes drive to Arles and there's a local bus to and from Avignon.

Security or Damage Deposit
A refundable security/damage deposit of 600 EUR is due immediately. When warranted, the deposit (or portion thereof) is refunded within 21 days of departure., Groups of young adults may be subject to a larger deposit., Long term rentals may be subject to a larger deposit.
