Terms

Reservations: A valid credit card is required for all reservations. For payment, we accept cash, personal check, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, . There will be a $30 surcharge on all returned checks.

Deposits, Payments, & Cancellations: A deposit of one night's rent, not including taxes and fees is required to secure a reservation. The remaining balance owed will be charged the day of arrival and will be charged to the card we have one file. If you are paying with check then it must arrive Seven days before your arrival. Should cancellation occur within 30-days of arrival, all deposit monies paid to date will be forfeited, unless we are able to re-rent the property for your entire stay.

Refunds: No refunds are granted for early departure or late arrival, inclement weather, eviction, mechanical malfunction, or interruption of utilities. We will make every effort to ensure necessary repairs are completed in a timely manner.

Taxes: State sales tax (7%) and county hotel-motel tax (5%) is collected on the first 30 nights of all stays. State sales tax only is collected on the 11th-90th nights of all stays. Tax requirements are subject to change by state and local taxing authorities.

Behavior: Loud or unruly behavior is strictly prohibited. Management reserves the right to evict, without refund, any person who creates a disturbance or becomes a nuisance.

Age: One individual in each party must be at least 25 years of age and occupy the property during the entire reservation period. No refund given it have to leave the unit because of under age.

Check-In & Check-Out: Check-in time is 4:00 pm. Check out is 10:00 am.

Pet Policy:Some of our vacation rental properties accept pets. Most of the units do not allow pets. We will be happy to suggest area boarding facilities, if necessary.

Smoking: Unless otherwise noted, all residences are designated non-smoking. Smoking inside a non-smoking residence will result in a minimum charge of $250 for additional cleaning.

Occupancy: The occupancy limitation for each residence is designated in the property description. Management reserves the right of eviction, without refund, for unauthorized occupancy.


Substitution: Management strives to comply with all reservation requests for specific residences. However, due to changes in residence ownership, properties being removed from rental unforeseen mechanical malfunctions, or other unforeseen circumstances, we cannot guarantee a specific rental property. We reserve the right to change assignments without notice or liability. Guests will have the option of selecting from available properties at the published rate or receiving a complete refund of their reservation deposit.

Rates: All rates are subject to change without notice.

Interest Bearing Account: Guest is hereby notified that all monies collected are placed into an interest bearing account in which the interest shall accrue to the benefit of SSI Fun, Inc.

Grills: Outdoor grilling is permitted only in designated areas. Grilling on decks, balconies, or screened porches is prohibited by law. Please use caution when grilling.

Pools & Hot Tubs: Lifeguards are not provided. Guests are responsible for the safety of themselves, their children, and their guests. Pool and Hot Tub facilities are for the use of registered guests and property owners only. Diaper age children are required to wear swim diapers when using swimming pools. No discounts or refunds will be issued for pool or hot-tub malfunctions or closures.

Utilities: Rental rates are inclusive of all utilities including, electricity and/or gas, local telephone service (unless otherwise noted), basic cable television, water, sewer, and waste disposal. Any additional services, such as Internet, will be noted in the property description. As previously stated, interruption of utilities does not warrant refunds. However, management will make every effort to resolve such interruptions in a timely manner.

Beach Rules: Glynn County Code of Ordinances sets the following regulations for beach usage: 1) no glass containers, 2) no motorized vehicles, 3) no littering. Animals are prohibited on the beach from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Memorial Day through Labor Day, between the Pier and the Coast Guard Station. Animal owners are required to clean up after their animals on the beach at all times.

Great location, great vacation This house was fantastic! Besides the few issues with actually getting this house booked and communicating with SSI Fun, this place was perfect. It was in a great location, great condition, and just what we were looking for.

SSI townhouse Townhouse was decorated nicely, convenient to the village and east beach. Beds were a little too firm for us but comfortable. It was nice temperature the 1st day and didn't need heat or the AC but 2nd night it got cold. We didn't get back to the townhouse until late and it was cold. We could not get the heat to come on at all. It was too late to call anyone and we were leaving the next day. Overall, the townhouse was nice and we would return. An added plus, there is a nice lemon tree out the back door and it was full. Enjoyed some fresh lemons in our drinks! :)

New Years Weekend - St Simons Island Our first visit to the "Golden Isles" - the location was perfect, a short walk to the beach, a longer walk or bike ride to the pier. The sunrises on the beach were magnificent. The house was comfortable and well equipped. It could accommodate 4 comfortably. Wouldn't recommend this location for 6 as the downstairs pull out couch had little to no privacy. The back door in that area has no blinds and the upper windows are without shutters so guests sleeping there would not have privacy. Would suggest placing bar soap in the bathrooms for both shower/bath. We had to purchase soap since only liquid hand soap was provided. Overall experience was positive - we would stay there again and would recommend this rental to others.

Beach get away A little longer to beach than I thought but not bad. We had the golf cart so it was easy. Place was clean and we had an overall good experience and a great vacation.

Marsh ... beach ... pool ... turtles...back porch....loved all This is our third time at this property. We find it has just the right combination of the goodies we like. It is a long block walk to the beach (we like walking so who cares about that). It has a quiet pool (only ones there) and a quiet and shady back porch (awesome). There is a biking/jogging sidewalk across the street. You see the marsh from the windows (not other houses) so you feel you are away from it all. You are minutes from shops and can walk to a park (playground) in about 15 minutes (nice morning ritual). If you don't mind stairs (we don't), this is amazing.

BEST VACATION EVER! THIS WAS THE ULTIMATE PLACE TO STAY ON OUR FAMILY VACATION. EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN AND CLOSE TO POOL AND BEACH. MY SON LIVES ON LITTLE ST. Great for beach lovers The house was great and had everything you could wish for. The lime tree outside was a bonus for us as the fruit was ripe and we were invited to pick it. The location is a block off the beach and we swam each afternoon. The pool was a little chilly for us. There could have been more information on the house and the area and we feel that had Debbie not had to visit us for payment we would not have had any contact with the Management company. We reported that the phone didn't work but the battery was not changed. There is no street address for the company so our only way to contact them was by email. However it didn't spoil our holiday and we would recommend the house.<br/>

Close to the beach and bike rental The unit fit our needs very well. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the unit was clean. Being so close to the beach (5-minute walk) is extremely nice.<br/>The one drawback was the lack of supplies (we had to buy toilet paper, dishwasher soap and bath soap).

Location, Updated, Townhouse, small TV This is a smart, clean and updated townhouse in a great location. Two blocks from the beach, each access to everywhere and a biking/waking trail is in front of the home. Views of the marsh. We didn't use the pool but it was there. We would call it near perfect except the TVs were very tiny and my 55+ vision is not what it used to game scores were tiny tiny tiny. Management is HIGHLY responsive, delivering a second set of key and answering questions.

Quaint, well equipped, very close to beach! We rented 1500 Ocean in September and our experience was perfect, with our 3 kids. The property was very clean and nicely decorated, the complex is quiet and has a nice pool, and the walk to the beach is short. All in all, very convenient and relaxing. The manager was very helpful, too. We are going back in the Spring!

McCullers 2015 Townhome was very clean and maintained. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. Pool was perfect. My only recommendation is to look at doing some minor household repairs around the home (front door knob really loose, bedroom fan blade bent, etc.). Our vacation was great!

Very comfortable First and most important, yes, I would use again, the rental was as described; very clean, comfortable and closer to beach than expected. We stayed during the off-season and while on one of the main roads it was not an issue with traffic or noise as most respected the 25 MPH speed limit. <br/><br/>It is a great place that is nicely furnished and a good value.

Best House We Ever Had at the Beach This was the perfect size for our 6 person family. The house was beautifully appointed and CLEAN. The kitchen was fairly spacious and had all the kitchen implements we needed. The only downside was there was no outside water hose for washing sand from our feet and beach gear and the property pool shower was turned off. Other than this slight inconvenience, our stay was great. Loved the island!

October Getaway We very much enjoyed our stay at 1500 Ocean Blvd in St. Simons Island. The home was very clean but is rather dated. There were some missing electrical switchplates. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. The furnature was very comfortable and we enjoyed the extra room the townhouse offered over a hotel room.

Great for family Great location, lots of room, very close to neighborhood pool. Some remotes didn't have working batteries and place doesn't come with little bar soaps for bathrooms, so be sure to bring your own. Would definitely stay there again - great value.

St. Simon's Wedding My son got married on St. Simon's Island and the extended family stayed at the Compound. It worked out great! Debi Fri was wonderful to work with! Kimbo was super, very nice and fixed a few small repairs needed. He even came at short notice to unlock the house when the keys were left inside! We had plenty of room and the kids loved the pool and the beach was a short walk. We would definitely stay at the Compound again.

1500 Ocean Blvd The property is in an excellent location--walking distance to bike rental, restaurants and best of all, the beach! The front of the property has nice views of the marsh--great sunsets! The bedrooms and closets are a decent size and there are 3 bathrooms--very helpful. The kitchen has natural light and can accommodate several cooks at once. Bring your own coat hangers and sharp knives, though. You will not be disappointed as this property is very reasonably priced for the size and location. We had a great time!

We want to thank the owners. It was a very pleasant stay. House was very neat and clean, well kept. Very nice decorated in the kitchen you have everything you need (just as you were home) the bedrooms were very comfortable. The access to the beach was short and easy to find. The views for the upstairs master bedroom was exceptional. We are sure we will come back to this home in the future and will recommend to our friends and family. Fun at St. Simons beach The townhouse was very clean on the inside and tastefully decorated. Very convenient to the beach, but not on the beach. Also convenient to village area for eating,shopping,etc. Driveway was rough and back porch was weathered and damp. The trash bin is not near the townhouse and guests shouldn't have to strip linens off the bed before departing. The minor negatives could be easily fixed. Overall a good experience.

We reported that the phone didn't work but the battery was not changed. There is no street address for the company so our only way to contact them was by email. However it didn't spoil our holiday and we would recommend the house.<br/>

The unit fit our needs very well. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the unit was clean. Being so close to the beach (5-minute walk) is extremely nice.<br/>The one drawback was the lack of supplies (we had to buy toilet paper, dishwasher soap and bath soap).

This is a smart, clean and updated townhouse in a great location. Two blocks from the beach, each access to everywhere and a biking/waking trail is in front of the home. Views of the marsh. We didn't use the pool but it was there. We would call it near perfect except the TVs were very tiny and my 55+ vision is not what it used to game scores were tiny tiny tiny. Management is HIGHLY responsive, delivering a second set of key and answering questions.

We rented 1500 Ocean in September and our experience was perfect, with our 3 kids. The property was very clean and nicely decorated, the complex is quiet and has a nice pool, and the walk to the beach is short. All in all, very convenient and relaxing. The manager was very helpful, too. We are going back in the Spring!

Townhome was very clean and maintained. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. Pool was perfect. My only recommendation is to look at doing some minor household repairs around the home (front door knob really loose, bedroom fan blade bent, etc.). Our vacation was great!

First and most important, yes, I would use again, the rental was as described; very clean, comfortable and closer to beach than expected. We stayed during the off-season and while on one of the main roads it was not an issue with traffic or noise as most respected the 25 MPH speed limit. <br/><br/>It is a great place that is nicely furnished and a good value.

I enjoyed the property, however, it was not an appropriate place for accomodating a dinner party. The parking was difficult even for the actual people staying. The house was adorable and yes I would definately stay again and recommend it to a friend.

This is a beautiful town home, tastefully decorated with all the essentials that made our stay a pleasant one. The beach was in close proximity and the overall location was great. We would definitely stay at 1500 Ocean Blvd. again.

This was the perfect size for our 6 person family. The house was beautifully appointed and CLEAN. The kitchen was fairly spacious and had all the kitchen implements we needed. The only downside was there was no outside water hose for washing sand from our feet and beach gear and the property pool shower was turned off. Other than this slight inconvenience, our stay was great. Loved the island!

We very much enjoyed our stay at 1500 Ocean Blvd in St. Simons Island. The home was very clean but is rather dated. There were some missing electrical switchplates. Not a big deal but worth mentioning. The furnature was very comfortable and we enjoyed the extra room the townhouse offered over a hotel room.

Great location, lots of room, very close to neighborhood pool. Some remotes didn't have working batteries and place doesn't come with little bar soaps for bathrooms, so be sure to bring your own. Would definitely stay there again - great value.

My son got married on St. Simon's Island and the extended family stayed at the Compound. It worked out great! Debi Fri was wonderful to work with! Kimbo was super, very nice and fixed a few small repairs needed. He even came at short notice to unlock the house when the keys were left inside! We had plenty of room and the kids loved the pool and the beach was a short walk. We would definitely stay at the Compound again.

The property is in an excellent location--walking distance to bike rental, restaurants and best of all, the beach! The front of the property has nice views of the marsh--great sunsets! The bedrooms and closets are a decent size and there are 3 bathrooms--very helpful. The kitchen has natural light and can accommodate several cooks at once. Bring your own coat hangers and sharp knives, though. You will not be disappointed as this property is very reasonably priced for the size and location. We had a great time!

House was very neat and clean, well kept. Very nice decorated in the kitchen you have everything you need (just as you were home) the bedrooms were very comfortable. The access to the beach was short and easy to find. The views for the upstairs master bedroom was exceptional. We are sure we will come back to this home in the future and will recommend to our friends and family. Thank you very much we had a wonderful vacation. Lili Adam and Isabella S
