Unique and charming, this 2 bedroom rural house sleeps 3 people. With bags of character and previously used as stables years ago it is set out on one level on the outskirts of a traditional Canarian village.The house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, providing a home away from home
With its spacious layout offering 1 double & 1 single bedroom, a separate fully equipped kitchen, lounge/dining room and a shower room all leading off a central hallway, the house combines modern amenities with a traditional feel. It's comfortably furnished in a rustic style with wooden beamed ceilings & cool whitewashed walls.

A private entrance leads into the spacious south facing garden on 2 levels where you will find your own plunge pool, hot tub (fabulous at night under the stars with a glass of something chilled to hand!), BBQ, table and chairs, sun loungers and parasols. There are views to the sea and surrounding countryside

Our home is ideal for couples seeking a relaxing peaceful hideaway and just perfect for honeymooners. It is not a party house.

Situated on the outskirts of San Miguel de Abona at an altitude of approximately 560m above sea level, the property is just 20 minutes drive to the nearest beaches, 25 minutes to the nightlife of Los Cristianos and Las Americas, 15 minutes to Amarilla Golf & Golf del Sur golf courses and 15 minutes to Tenerife South airport.

San Miguel offers several nice restaurants, cafes and bars within walking distance which mainly offer Canarian cuisine and tapas, although there is a Venezuelan bar/cafe and also a British run bar/cafe offering traditional British food if that's what you want.

There are a couple of supermarkets in the village, plus an English speaking butchers, fruit & vegetable shop, bakery, banks, post office and a chemist
San Miguel is ideal for walking/hiking as there are several walking trails and various historical points of interest in the area. Cycling is popular here too and bikes can be rented from the local cycle shop which also offer bike tours.

We are also ideally placed for exploring Tenerife’s varied countryside and natural beauty, the most famous being the Teide National Park (Parque Nacional del Teide) with its spectacular volcanic scenery. Those interested in astronomy can also participate in stargazing group trips.

The coastal town of El Médano, 25 minutes drive away, is fantastic for kite and wind surfing.You can also climb nearby Montaña Roja (Red Rock) which juts out into the sea in less than an hour, it's a great spot for watching the planes come into Tenerife South airport.
Just 20 minutes away is the village of Vilaflor in which are several vineyards so wine tasting is also an option. One of the shops in San Miguel offers wine and local foods tasting too.
