not so great- beware of icky seagrass problem IN addition to the letter below- the seagrass on the beach made it impossible to get in the water and it SMELLED like a sewer.<br/>The owners did refund one night- however- here is the letter I sent:<br/><br/>1. As a business owner myself, I would want to know the condition of my business. Therefore, the below will hopefully improve your business.<br/>2. With condition of the condominium and the other items I will outline, I would like you to refund 50% of our charges.<br/>We left 2 days early because of the condition of the condominium and complaining would not fix the situation.<br/>Upon our arrival Yvette meet us at the ferry and took us to the condominium. <br/>There was:<br/>&#x2022; No icetrays- she did have her son get some ice for us- which was nice.<br/>&#x2022; The next day we had to ask for more kitchen towels as there was only one- we also had to ask for paper towels.<br/>&#x2022; Then we noticed there was no soap in the bathroom- had to ask for that.<br/>&#x2022; The TV in the bedroom was out for 4 days- the TV in the living room was out for 2 days (Yvette said they were working the morning we checked in)- my husband is pretty tech savvy. Based on the condition of what was needed to make them work, He could see it would be impossible for them to be working that morning <br/>&#x2022; The air-conditioning is misrepresented on your site- as it is only in the bedroom.<br/>Below are pictures:<br/>1. Two pillows in the living room were stained and dirty-YUCK<br/>2. Light next to chair was broken and unsafe- the cord was unplugged and poorly wrapped with tape-which is dangerous.<br/>3. All The chairs outside feel like they were sprayed with cement, and it is now chipping and in rough condition-uncomfortable to sit on.<br/>4. Note the picture with the Towel on the bathroom floor- The mat and towel were totally soaked as the toilet had a leaked and the floor beside the toilet was dirty.<br/>I hope this help you- however we were certainly disappointed and I think Response from Sunrise Property Management; Monday, June 13, 2022 Thank you for your detailed notes about the property. Your correspondence was passed on to the owner and they flew to Belize to visit with the on-site management to ensure that guests are being provided with the correct amenities. They also reviewed the unit and put together a list of improvements and maintenance items to be addressed in light of your comments. Beyond that, a full building inspection was conducted by an inspector in June, and a list of improvements have been prioritized. It was unfortunate that your arrival coincided with a significant influx of Sargasuum. A property further down the beach had placed a fence perpendicular to the beach to keep the Sargassum off their property, that resulted in a quarter mile backup of Saragassum along the beach and it took over a week for the Department of the Environment to force them to tear down the fence. Thankfully we don't have an issue at the moment but this is a problem being experience by the entire Caribbean, Florida, and the US Gulf of Mexico coast.

Loved Belizean Reef Suites! This was my first time not staying at a hotel and I absolutely loved everything about staying at the Belizean Reef Suites! My suite was a very clean, spacious one bedroom unit with a very open floor plan and no wasted space. The ocean views were phenomenal and the spacious balcony was my favorite place to sit in the mornings, drink my coffee and take it all in.<br/><br/>I chose this vacation rental because I was traveling alone and as a single woman, safety was key. I got the impression from the reviews that this place was very homey and that the property management, Yvette, took excellent care of her guests - which is so so true! She met me at the airport and also dropped me off, and gave me the best recommendations in terms of must do and must see things during my stay. The house keeper was also very lovely and helpful. Simon who helped me with questions before I got there, was amazing! <br/><br/>The location couldn&#x2019;t have been more perfect...walking distance to everything you could possibly need. Also, I&#x2019;d like to say that the app they gave me access to was incredible because it had all the information I <br/>needed to plan my trip (requirements to enter and leave Belize, what to pack, activities, weather, forms I had to fill etc.)...so so helpful:)<br/><br/>I would definitely stay there again. And one other highlight is that there is this this amazing ice cream place that is a one minute walk and deserves to be mentioned in the location perks!!!<br/><br/>Thank you for my amazing stay! Relaxing stay We had a very nice stay, we were on the second floor , Condo was very roomy<br/>The view of the reef excellent. Great restaurants within walking distance. <br/> Yvette was the property manager and she was very knowledgeable of restaurants <br/>Rentals etc. Yvette Even picked us and dropped us at airport, which was very close but a long drag with suitcases.<br/> Our main focus was diving we dove with Chuck and Robbies dive shop . They were extremely professional and would recommend them as a great shop<br/> Lastly the people of San Pedro are very friendly and very gracious we always felt safe in all parts of town day or night. Belizean Reef 2 Week Stay Perfect location, wonderful host Yvette R., immaculate housekeeping via Eramita. Homey furnished atmosphere though somewhat dated but acceptable. Neighborhood was safe and all our needs were within reach. We would return. Hopefully, the roads will be in better repair. If you are a family with children, we can sleep up to 6 with no extra fees. We also have additional units available at the property if you need more space.

Housekeeping is available upon request at no additional charge; we also provide laundry service for a small fee. We meet you at the San Pedro airport or San Pedro Belize Express water taxi and help you with transportation to the villa.
