Sunset Beach ocean is a 3 minute drive/taxi from the property. The fine sand beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. There is a public dock.
Sea Trail Plantation is located one mile from the beach. Even though it's only a mile, walking is not recommended from May through September due to heavy car traffic and the narrow road shoulders. Besides, you'll need your car to take your beach chairs, umbrellas, floats, surf boards, boogie boards, etc. There are three parking lots at the beach, two are free and one is exclusively for resort guests.
Property is not near a ski resort.
