Tillicum Bay marina is a five minute drive away. There is a marina two minutes away where you can keep your boat. There are two beaches, both a five minute walk is sandier than the other
Ski/Board Out is a 20 minute drive to the ski resort parking lot. Ski/Board In is a 20 minute drive from the resort parking lot.
***Not a resort, but the Tetrahedron Plateau is up the logging road behind the cottage. Its popular for backcountry skiing. Dakota Ridge is the cross-country skiing area, about a half-hour drive away.

Within 30 days of arrival there will be no refund of deposit.
Security or Damage Deposit
A refundable security/damage deposit of 1000 CAD is due 7 days prior to arrival.
When warranted, the deposit (or portion thereof) is refunded within 7 days of departure.

We stayed at Carmel cottage for 4 nights in the summer. Even though it was a holiday weekend, it was fairly quiet and secluded. The cottage is exceptional - well-designed (keeps cool with concrete tile flooring, high ceilings and a shaded lot) and lots of charm. We enjoyed the deck - what a great place to relax, with an amazing view and a resident hummingbird to boot. Cottage is in excellent shape, and walking distance to a beach and kayak/canoe rentals. The owners were fabulous - quick to respond when we had questions and very friendly! We will be back!

Everything you could ever want for an amazing getaway! Our entire experience at the cottage from beginning to end was absolutely perfect. 10 minute drive to Sechelt, 5 minute drive to excellent walking/running/dog-walking trails, 5 minute walk to quiet beach. An enjoyable, peaceful, and completely relaxing experience. Cottage is equipped with everything you need to tune in or tune out from technology, which was perfect. One of our favourite parts was barbequing on the gorgeous deck. We will definitely be back!

Welcome to our little piece of paradise. We're located in the tranquil neighbourhood of Tuwanek, which is a ten minute drive alongside Sechelt Inlet from the town of Sechelt. A truly peaceful community where one can virtually hear the quiet of the surrounding area, the cottage is situated in a way where the only views are of forest, mountain, and ocean.

Quality workmanship throughout this custom built home; includes premier fir wood finish on all window and door trim and baseboards, the covered patio is framed with posts and railings of fir, the exterior is wrapped with red cedar, and pine ceilings throughout the house, all of which have a furniture-like finish. This all gives the place a truly woodsy yet luxurious feeling.
