Second Visit, noticeable issues
This was our second stay in the treehouse so we now have some reference of comparison. We noticed that our unit had no fire pit (the others had their own) which meant we had to wait for our neighbor to finish.

Also we noticed that there are no longer the nice propane grills on the decks which we had intended to use for our cooking. Strange loss of an amenity.

Finally the noise made it impossible to sleep. Luckily the property manager took care of the loud guests up until 3am. But the walls of the treehouse are paper thin.

Hopefully you will improve these areas.

Good Stay
The cabin was lovely, as well as the adjoining property. The only problems I can think of are noise levels and lack of wifi. The cabin shares a deck with a second cabin, and so if the cabin nextdoor was being noisy it was very easily heard.

My husband and I were fairly irritated that wifi was advertised and that we could not use it at all. There is usable wifi in some shared areas of the facilities but not in the cabin, which mean that when we were inside all day due to rain, we could not watch Netflix or do anything except use our data plans. We requested this be fixed by the company but they were unable to deliver.

Still, we did like our space and it suited our needs. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The 12 of us had a wonderful time. The cabins had more useful items than we were expecting i.e. coffee and filters, salt and pepper, even a few inside toys. The only suggestions I have is have the e-mailed check out and WIFI instructions match the posted on the refrigerator instructions.

Almost did not get out of car upon arrival.
When we topped the hill and continued driving toward the creek.....I thought why didn't I read all the reviews. We continued driving and finally turned into the not appealing property. My husband and myself drove to our cabin, Singing Cloud. We parked and decided to walk the grounds since our check in time was at 3:30 and we were a little early. Oh my, we walked into the game room where the very used pool table was. The odor was horrible. I left immediately to get some fresh air. The brick building was in a sad condition. We decided to walk down to the creek. The grounds needed a lot of update. The fence that surrounded the property needed panels to be repaired. We mainly stayed in the cabin. Actually the cabin was in fair shape. I would suggest if you rent Singing Cloud be sure you are not a large person because you could not walk up the spiral stairs. I am sure the kids would love it. I went up the spiral stairs and closed the blinds and never went up stairs again. The cabin was clean but oh my the bbq pit was filthy and I mean filthy. So we use the microwave to warm the weiners. The highway was very close to our cabin and you should hear the vehicles up and down the road besides the train in the distance. I was very disappointed overall.

Beautiful property!
We stayed for two nights over Spring Break and wish we had planned to stay longer. Our treehouse, Singing Cloud, was lovely. It was clean and fully stocked. The deck was enormous, and we loved the game room, the creek (and rope swings and kayaks!), and the multiple grills, fire pits, and swings/benches everywhere. The service was phenomenal - someone came by on their own because they had forgotten a bath mat, which we hadn't even realized. They also brought extra coffee. The Wi-Fi is not great which was fine for us. Also, the spiral staircase is extremely narrow and unsuitable for someone older. It's difficult to get a small overnight bag up it. The grills, firepits, lifejackets, and kayaks could be cleaner, but overall we were very happy.

Geronimo Creek Cabins
When we arrived we saw two young girls pulling a wagon cleaning the bathrooms and then some of the cottages. We talked to them for a few minutes. One was 15 and the other one was 16. I figured that this was why there were negative reviews regarding cleanliness. We had just used those bathrooms which were in need of a cleaning badly. We came a little early and the small dock had several kayaks and a paddle board pulled up onto the dock. Which did not leave a lot of room to walk. I wondered why they didn't just pull these up on the grass embankment in front of the dock. The creek was small but nice. We kayaked and the water was great. We didn't really want to swim in the water in front of the establishment because it did not have a lot of movement. The cabin we stayed in was clean. The stairs leading to the loft are small as other reviews had noted. We washed every dish before we ate on them. After all there is no dishwasher and seeing they had these young girls as there cleaning crew was a little scary. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio. After eating a snack we went down to the dock to kayaking again. At this time the dock was muddy and wet because people had used several of the kayaks then and had pulled them onto the dock. It was at this time I slipped on the mud/wet tearing my hamstring (serious injury) which basically ruined our afternoon. In the evening we could not get our gas/grill to work however out of nowhere a wonderful gentleman appeared who worked on the property and promptly fixed the problem. The next day as we were leaving we walked (I limped) around the property. We decided this was a great money maker. Our cabin was around $270. They have several tent cabins, & teepees further away and the 4 cabins. We discussed the pros/cons of the property. We definitely would not come in the summer. It would be over crowded and there really is not enough waterfront for the amount of rentals they have. Okay stay would not come again. Place kind of runs itself

We spoke with others there who had been trying to get the spa to heat up for days with no luck and it was not very clean. We stayed at the Singing Cloud on Feb 24-26, 2017
This was a great family vacation. The location and cabins were very clean. Also, we didn't have any problems with any of the other families that stayed there that weekend. The game room is very well kept. They have a paddle boat and canoes by the lake. Sadly due to the cold weather we weren't able to do any water activities. But there are other stuff you can do outdoors.
The only thing I will say I didn't like were the super old cooking/baking pans they had. Literally all of our food got stuck to them. So definitely bring your own. Another thing were the tiny stairs they have inside the cabin, it was hard to go up and down all the time. And last but not least, the water is super muddy and there's a sign that warns people about snakes in it so if you let your kids go in it just make sure to keep an eye on them. Other than those few cons everything else was great. I'd definitely go back but this time when its a bit hotter.
P.S- Once you book the cabin they give you a discount on their other locations "Son's Island" I believe its called that. Make sure to reserve a spot there for the same weekend or you wont be able to go there cause the spots get booked super fast. Sadly we dint get to use our discount. I hope this review helps!

The stream was stagnate at one end and mosquito infested the paddle boat that was suppose to be for our use the rudder was was broken and you had to use a paddle to steer. The canoes were old and worn out. This was not a good trip for the 750.00 for a weekend which started from a 3:00pm check in on Friday to a 11:00 AM check out on Sunday. The additional shower rooms 20 or so yards from the treehouse were great! The 2 youngest boys and girls would go there to shower after spending all day in the creek. The evening we got there, I found that the oven did not work, no way to cook biscuits for breakfast and that's one of our families favorites. We didn't really use the kayaks or the rope swings but that's because we stayed in town during the day. We did however use the hot tub at night which was nice. We had a fantastic weekend at Geronimo that truly exceed our expectations. The property is very well thought out and well maintained. We originally booked because of the Tipis, but ended up changing to two treehouse cabins after our arrival. This had no reflection on the Tipi itself, which was amazing, it just better suited our family needs to have the two cabins and one HUGE shared a deck. There were plenty of chairs, chair swings, firepits, grills, restrooms, games, etc for our enjoyment, plus hot tub and large game room with ping pong, large sofas and TV. We were concerned that there would be conflict of use with other campers - but, that was rarely the case. We had to take turns with kayaks and paddleboards, but only had to share hot tub and basketball court once. We were also blessed with great weather - so we were able to make full use of the facilities, including rope swing, catch-release fishing and swimming! All in all, a fantastic venue. Thank you to the owners for sharing it with others in such a special way!

Overall a good location and experience. The cabin was smaller than expected. It advertised that it slept up to 8 - our unit did not have a pullout in the family room so did not technically sleep 8. The AC unit was not working properly. It dripped water all weekend. We had to empty a pot every few hours. We did call and leave a message about the AC and did not get a response. The common areas were enjoyable although the "playroom" needed almost all lightbulbs replaced and there were no ping pong balls or decent paddles to use. We did get a very quick response on these items and they were fixed/replaced immediately. Overall a fun weekend but we will definitely rent both units if we return with 8 people. One bathroom for 8 people was a challenge :-).
It was nice. My family really liked the activities at the water. There was a large water puddle on the floor when we got there so I called the management and they acted like I had bothered them and informed me I was not at a hotel and I should just clean it up with paper towels I should have brought. The floor was not clean and the sheets seemed like they hadn't been changed. We did not spend much time inside and it was lovely outside. I liked the water cycle the best. I was also very impressed that even though there were 4 or 5 families at the dock at a time we all shared and enjoyed each others' company.

But, it was hassle free, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again depending on our needs. Creek area was great for older kids, my 3 year old really had no way to play in water. I'm my opinion this was a rip off. Also, you traveled down a dirt road with unkept trailer homes on both sides of the dirt road YUCK!! Interesting if you read your web site you have nothing negative, this was awful.
P.S- Once you book the cabin they give you a discount on their other locations "S

The treehouse was really clean and neat. The beds in the loft were VERY hard, but the master King was great. Also, the stairs to get up to the loft were TINY spiral stairs made for kids (difficult for adults to get up and down). The hide away bed in the living room was traded out during the middle of our stay for a regular couch. This was disappointing since the cabin no longer slept 8 as it had promised. We called and the property manager brought in an air mattress which we greatly appreciated (though a little notification of the swap would have been nice rather than trying to make sleeping arrangements at 10 pm. ). The management is good, and the groundskeeper is outstanding! Overall it was a great trip!

Cabin was very clean and had basically everything we needed. When we couldn't hook up to the wifi, I just called the number they gave us and within 20 minutes somebody was there to fix the issue. We didn't really use the kayaks or the rope swings but that's because we stayed in town during the day. We did however use the hot tub at night which was nice. The only "issue" we had was how hot the kitchen/dinning room got during the day but we quickly figured out that the small fans connecting the rooms had their own ON switches. I would definitely recommend this place to people (and I actually have already) and I'm definitely going to be staying here again whenever I visit the area.
