Wasa Lake Resort is a 25 minute drive and is nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains. The lake has a ( 5 km.) paved path around the lake for biking, roller-blading and walking. There are 2 public beach accesses with boat, SeaDoo and canoe rentals. Lost Lake and Premier Lake are about a 10 minute drive from Wasa lake - both are hidden treasures. Wasa Beach is situated at Wasa Lake, BC. and is a 25 minute drive east of Kimberley towards Invermere, Radium Hotsprings and Calgary. It offers a provincial park area with 2 public beach access areas for beaching up, picnicing, boating, and has a 5 mile paved path around the lake for walkers, joggers, bikers, and rollerbladers. Boat and canoe rentals are available, two eateries and a general store. Free beach parking. Premier Lake Prov. Park is just 10 minutes further from Wasa lake, which is nestled in at the base of the Rocky Mountains.
Ski/Board Out is a 3 minute walk from the property
True Ski in/out - on hill chalet unit. Ski down to buy your lift ticket in the morning, and cut down just below the upper base lift and literally ski to the back door or along the side of the unit to the front door. Look for "D-6" on Resort Map.

Booking Deposit
The booking is confirmed with a deposit of 1 nights rent.
Christmas/New Year Peak Season, bookings are required to pay a 50% deposit. Long weekend bookings and stays longer than 6 days may be required to pay a deposit of up to 50%.
Payment Balance
Balance of payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.
Booking Cancellation Conditions
If you cancel anytime, payments (less 20 percent) are refunded if the property is re-rented.
Cancellation policies can be flexible depending on the booking period and if other renters are available. Please discuss with the owner.
Security or Damage Deposit
A refundable security/damage deposit of 250.00 CAD is due 30 days prior to arrival.
When warranted, the deposit (or portion thereof) is refunded within 5 days of departure.
Where possible, the damage deposit will be returned by email money transfer.

We stayed there February 2015 and had a great time. The condo had everything we needed and lots of space.
The hot tub was well taken care of the BBQ looked brand new.
If you are looking for a condo in Kimberley then this is the place. The cost was a great value for a good place with a good location to the hill and town.

Only suggestion I would make would be to add more towels and cloths for the kitchen. We made it work but another 1/2 dozen would work great.

There were nine of us and we all felt there was lots of room for all of us.
The kitchen is small but worked well for two families to prepare basic meals.
Loved having the hot tub after a day of skiing. Excellent value.

Condo is a nice size with 2 bedrooms and 1 ensuite driveway level then up stairs in dining room, kitchen and livingroom. Kitchen is adequate but more tea towels and dish cloths needed, if cooking your meals. Hot tub and deck off of this level. good size and the hot tub is comfortably warm. Wi Fi was hit and miss even after addressed by the owner. Up another flight of stairs to 2 more small bedrooms. very little closet space for hanging clothes. Over the door pegs were broken and wouldn't support suit. Bathing towels were plentiful but more face cloths, needed. We stayed 5 nights and would have liked clean towels and face cloths by day 3 as promised in the contract. No site of cleaning personnel at all.

Unfortunately, the nature of wifi can make it unreliable from time to time but we have confirmed the modem service this summer. We are happy to arrange for towel or linen service, especially for larger groups. The contract does say that this will be done on the third day if pre-scheduled. No bookings this summer pre-scheduled towel or linen service so our apologies if this was misunderstood. We hope to see you back again and would be happy to schedule a towel/linen service for you. We really enjoyed our stay here. The hot tub and sauna were a wonderful treat at the end of skiing. Everything was clean and ready to go. Great place if you have kids, lots of games, books, play station, movies. Short distance to the ski hill. Nice place to stay.
