Booking Deposit
The booking is confirmed with a deposit of 525.00 CAD.
Please note that for stays during the Christmas and New Years holidays (peak rental time), the booking deposit is doubled and the balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival.

For month-long rentals, the booking deposit is doubled and the balance is due 2 months prior to arrival.

Booking Cancellation Conditions
Cancellation 30 or more days prior to arrival, all payments (less a 500.00 CAD cancellation fee) are refunded.

We have relaxed our cancellation policy for the 2020/2021 Season – Book your vacation now with peace of mind.

If you cannot travel to Silver Star Mountain for your booking dates due to the mountain closing or due to a COVID-19 related reason, (which would include issues such as borders closing, a public health restriction to travel, verifiable proof of contacting COVID-19, or being forced to self-isolate due to contact), we will refund the non-refundable deposit and balance payment up to 14 days prior to your arrival date. Any cancellations within the 14 days, will be considered on a case by case basis and an administration fee will apply. We still strongly recommend trip cancellation for any non-related COVID-19 cancellation. These policies do not apply to the Owner Direct matching fee.

The property is limited to the maximum occupancy stated on the property and that you have confirmed at the time of booking. Due to COVID-19, provincial and regional restrictions may apply to your reservation and number of occupants allowed. In BC, there could be up to a $2,000 fine for not adhering to current provincial and regional restrictions by local bylaw or RCMP. These restrictions are subject to change.

A decent enough place up on the knoll. The positive side is that there's lots of room and the location is quiet. The tandem garage is spacious enough (we managed to fit a truck in without height or width issue) and the other vehicle we parked across the garage door and front entry, in order to give the neighbor at the end space to get in to their garage (there was a *lot* of snow!)

However, the description of 'deluxe' is stretching it a little. To be fair, what you see in the photos is as presented, but the furnishings and decor are jaded and dated. The bed linens were clean.

The hot tub was clean and the water nice and hot and was regularly serviced.

The ski out directions don't take you to the village, but to the bottom of the Comet Chair, which we found out on our first morning. We tried various ways thereafter, but ended up using the ski in location for both ski in and ski out.

An ideal retreat for a family or two to three couples who desire a little luxury on their outdoor vacation. Private hot tub, heated garage, washer/dryer, three full bathrooms, and a very well equipped kitchen. What more could you want.

Free wi-fi, free cable, and free parking.

The back deck has a covered area for the private six-person hot tub and the BBQ, and uncovered area used in the summer to enjoy the alpine garden, a great view of the Monashee Mountains and the warmth of the afternoon sunshine. Walking distance away from the village center but close enough to the action that you never need to get in your car. During the winter months, you can take advantage of the free shuttle that runs continuously throughout the village. Quiet, convenient, summer and winter.

Up one level from entry (boots, skis, coats, etc.) are the second level with (a high vaulted ceiling)in the living room, kitchen and dining area (large table that seats 8). The kitchen island will seat four on stools. There are a patio table and chairs on deck in the summer. An alpine garden is being created off the deck. An assortment of board games, puzzles, and books are provided. Iron and ironing board on-premises.

The hot tub is operational during the ski season only. To use it outside of the ski season, it may be arranged at an additional fee with enough advance notice.

There are two parking spots available. One in the garage and one in the driveway.
