Great place! Very spacious. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. Comfy but not fancy. Nice hot tub. Ski in and out requires a bit of walking which was fine for us but you might want to drive down with younger kids.

We stayed at a very odd time, as the COVID-19 restrictions started the day we arrived. Unfortunately that closed the lifts, so we were unable to ski. We still had a lovely family vacation, and enjoyed playing in the snow, going for walks, using the hot tub and playing games. The house was very nice and suited our needs perfectly. We would stay here again.

After another rental suddenly (and unceremoniously) canceled our previous reservation, we consider ourselves exceedingly lucky to have found this beautiful and well-equipped unit as replacement.
This is a large unit perfectly suited for 2 families. After a long day skiing, having separate living/family rooms allowed us parents to quietly relax in front of the fireplace while our energetic teenagers engaged in rowdy card games in the family room (conveniently co-located next to their bunk room). Heaven! The large ski room was an additional bonus.
We are already planning our return and I would highly recommend this unit to anyone.

This is a spacious and convenient townhouse that allows for a couple families to enjoy the amenities of Silver Star together. The best features are the large kitchen and living area, and hot tub on the same floor. It is important that people are comfortable with stairs, as there are many. We have stayed here before, and will likely stay here again. If TVs are important, it is good to know that there is only one on the main floor, and none in the basement family room (which would be convenient for kids or teenagers).

We stayed for a a week while skiing at Silver Star. The home worked well for the 8 of us The kitchen,eating area and living room provided the perfect spot for all of us to eat, drink and share the days adventures. The hot tub was thoroughly enjoyed after a hard day on the hills, My only recommendation is make sure the vehicle you drive has snow tires , the street and driveway leading to the home are steep We could not make it up in our mini van rental The property manager was able to let us park at another property, Everyone said their beds were comfy and with 3 and a half baths there was not much waiting, We would most definitely stay here again.

We are 3 couples that stayed at this property the first week of February, 2017. We come to Silver Star every year, but this is the first time that we stayed here. This property is part of a 6 duplex and 1 single family home complex. There is one very STEEP driveway that you use to access all the units, and each unit has parking for 2 vehicles. As we all arrived in our own vehicle, luckily for us, the neighbour told us we could park one of our vehicles in their driveway as there are no ‘extra’ parking options.
The home is very spacious and was very extremely comfortable. It is a large home that is spread out over 3 floors. There are 2 bedrooms (including the master) on the same floor as the main entrance, and the kitchen, living room, eating area and deck (with hot tub) are on the top floor. There is also a bedroom with 2 bunks, den, full bath and washer/dryer on the bottom floor. Just off the den is a ski locker that looks like it has never been used. We did not use the ski locker either as we would have had to carry all our equipment up and down 2 flights of stairs because it is impossible to ski out from the ski locker/bottom floor.
Before we rented this unit, we asked the owner about the ski out/ski in accessibility. We were told that the ski way is just on the other side of the driveway/road. While this is true, what was not mentioned was that the house is near the top of the complex and the driveway down to the road was extremely steep and icy. We found the driveway very treacherous and difficult to walk down with our ski boots on. There is also no ‘ski in’ option and we took the shuttle back from the village every day. As the shuttle bus only comes approximately every half hour, we ended up not coming in for lunch and quitting a bit earlier every day as it was too much of a hassle to head back for lunch. We talked to other people staying at some of the other properties in the complex, and they ended up driving to the village every day because of the poor access to the ski way.
While the house itself is lovely, cozy and roomy, we would not stay here again as we prefer better ski out/ski in options.

We were 2 families staying. The house was great for our group and the snow was great. Every night, we had more snow. Everything worked well, except the stove fan, and the manager checked in on us to make sure all was well. The driveway up to the house was difficult in our minivan, even with chains on, but it was snowing and we were there to ski, so no complaint. We made a little trail out the back, about 20 yards, that dropped us into the neighbour's drive, then walked 150 yards to the ski lift. Did I mention it was snowing? No one had a problem with it and we even came home for lunch during our visit. Would recommend to anyone.

It was great to have the space for everyone to have some time to themselves if they wanted. Lovely kitchen and dining area very well suited to a larger group. The DVD player would not work but the owner quickly brought us a replacement. However, the replacement had a hard time reading newer DVDs. My recommendation is to buy a new dvd player that would compliment such a wonderful condo. Not too far to walk to ski-out but ski-in is not an option. Easiest way back is to catch the shuttle in the village. We would definitely rent this condo again.

Great layout for families with school age or older children. Bunk room and den downstairs on the lowest floor allowed for the option of different hang out spaces. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. As a heads up, many "ski in and ski out" locations at Silver Star appear to require some hiking through the snow banks or walking on the road. We ended up driving our littlest one to the ski school area, but the older kids did manage to hike and carry their own skis to the chairlift. I would stay here again.

Very nice place, well equipped with everything a family needs. Our only complaint is the den area has a sofa bed and the matress is in such poor shape we slept horribly, we even pulled it out and put it on the floor as when on sofa it was totally tilted as well. If I were to rent this place again I would not include the den area as an option for people to sleep. Otherwise our stay was exceptional!!
