This is not a typical rental unit, it is our second home and we only rent on limited basis each year, so at all times it is maintained to a very high standard. Two fully equipped kitchens make for easy catering, with 2 dining areas seating 10 and 6 people respectively. A total of four bathrooms ensure there are no long queues at busy times of day. Entertainment is provided via 3 flat screen, HDMI enabled TVs, a Blu Ray player and 2 DVD players. Free wi-fi is also on offer. We also have a selection of board games and books. Heated floors add a touch of comfort after a long day on the mountain and all rooms have individual thermostats. Fancy a dip in the private hot tub. It is conveniently located on the covered deck, 2 steps from the kitchen door, so you never need to clear away the snow. The deck also has a high end, large gas barbeque. There is parking for up to 6 cars on two driveways. Two spacious entryways provide both exterior secure ski lockers and interior storage for boots, helmets, jackets etc. We have guests who return year after year and we are more than happy to share their feedback on the house. Silver Star Mountain Resort is open from November to April for winter sports and July to September for hiking, biking, and wine and beer festivals. It is conveniently located 20 minutes from Vernon.

    Our vacation rental home is just a short walk to Kinsmen beach and Invermere's unique shopping and dining, close to everything yet far enough from the train tracks to not be disturbed. The house is a 1920's Kootenay National Park two-story house that was moved from Radium Hot Springs and has had lots of updates. The spacious interior is warm and charming, with original character hardwood floors, and a full height double-sided fireplace. The large yard has numerous trees, which shade the house on hot summer days. Our home has 4 bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is a king-size bed and bunk-bed in the large master bedroom with plenty of room for a playpen, 2 bedrooms with queen-size beds, and one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. There is also a hide-a-bed in the family room. We can accommodate 8 adults or groups up to 10 people of adults and children. All bedding, linens, towels and pillows are provided. The full-size, fully equipped kitchen has an island and cook-top. Basic spices, coffee, coffee filters, sugar and tea are provided. There is a double-sided wood-burning fireplace that faces the kitchen on one side, and the living room on the other side. Upstairs there is a TV room with lots of videos and board games for the kids. High speed wireless internet and NetFlix are available. The large, fenced yard has lots of trees that offers privacy for family fun. There is a large spacious deck with patio tables, chairs and a propane BBQ at the front of the house, a smaller deck off the living room, and a balcony/deck with chairs on the upper level. There is a fire-pit in the backyard (firewood provided). Patio table and chairs are provided. There is an on-site property manager (who lives in a self-contained basement suite) who can assist with emergencies.
