    "True" ski-in/ski-out home - You NEVER have to take a step in your ski boots. Our home is the closest house on the mountain to a ski trail. 3 beautiful, huge King beds, a double trundle that can convert to a King, a double and a futon that folds down to a twin. The front dining area, balcony and Master bedroom window seat all have panoramic views of the Columbia river valley and the Canadian Rockies. Heated wood and slate floors. Air hockey, table tennis and pool table await you down in the den. We have lots of board games, cards, puzzles and movies for your use. We are two avid skiers who bought our house for ski trips with family and friends and eventual retirement. We first skied at Kicking Horse in 2004 as part of our yearly ski trip with friends to the Canadian Rockies. Our day at Kicking Horse was the favorite of everyone on the trip. We couldn't believe how great the snow was, how big the mountain was and how few people there were. In 2009 we were looking to buy and we decided to come back to double check if everything we remembered about it was true. It was and we happened to stumble upon a great deal on this home and jumped at the opportunity. With any life changing event there is always a little voice that wonders if you are doing the right thing. That voice went away and never came back after we had to stop for a black wolf in the middle of the road between Banff and Golden. We knew this was the place for us. There is lots of hiking, biking, swimming, boating and golfing to be done in the valley. Two master bedrooms that each have their own private decks with sitting area. Master bedroom has 2 person jacuzzi tub, flat screen 27" TV, full bathroom with corner shower. Second master has 27" TV and 24" TV hooked to xbox/DVD player, queen bed, sofa which opens to full size hide a bed and two easy chairs with end and coffee table. Bar sink with coffee maker. Full second bathroom has walk in shower. Main floor living room houses another full size hide a bed, arm chair, 27: flat screen TV, gas fireplace, dining room table and kitchen that is fully stocked with all dishes, cookware, basic spices, food wrap, baggies, tupperware, complementary coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Main floor laundry, front load units, huge entrance area into unit that is on ground level and ample room for parking. This unit feels like home without the feeling that you are in somebody's space. All towels, hand soaps, dish soaps, tea towels etc are provided. All you need to bring is beach towels for the hot springs. We take bookings for anytime of year, and have a min 3 night stay in low season and 5 night min in high season. Come to the mountains and sit on one of the three decks and take a breath of fresh air and take in the glory of the mountains!! There are about 10 golf courses within a 30 min drive, and 3 courses within a 5 minute drive. This complex borders Mountainside Golf Course, 17th fairway, Riverside and Creekside are a 3 minute drive. 20 minutes takes you to Copper Point, Copper Ridge, Eagle Ranch. Radium resort course and the Springs are another ten minutes. One hour takes you to St Eugene, Trickle Creek, Shadow Mountain. The ski hill of Fairmont is perfect for the family and is a 10 min drive up the mountain, and Panorama is a mere 40 min away. Kimberley and Cranbrook are 50 min. The world famous Fairmont Hot Springs Pools are a 5 minute hike up the hill or a 2 minute drive. After a day of fun, return home to relax in the condo with everything you could possibly need. It feels and looks like home...A place to relax, regroup, recoup in a busy hectic life. Staring at mountains is like staring at a fire...It has healing and calming powers. This luxurious chalet is an excellent ski accommodation, located 500 yards or a five minute walk from the Pommel Lift and a similar distance from the Day Lodge. There is ample space in the living room with two full couches, a love seat and a big cuddly chair in front of the floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, appliances and coffee supplies and spices. Our propane barbeque is located on the main floor deck just outside the kitchen doors. Spectacular views of Paradise Ridge can be seen from the main floor deck. At night, new constellations light up the skies above our private hot tub located on our walk-out deck. There are many activities at Panorama Resort year round. From downhill to cross country skiing, golf at Greywolf Golf course, or mini golf nearby.
