The place was a bit small for 3, but I was advised it would be small. There was fresh linen, lots of cleaning supplies. There was even some decoration up for the Christmas season (that was a nice touch).

Was a little disappointed that that the dishwasher had dishes in it. Some of the dishes in the cupboard were dirty. Not sure why when there was everything there for cleaning. Coffee pot had dry used grounds (this should have been dumped and cleaned).
I booked this place for me and my family because it did not allow pets in the unit. (I have bad pet allergies) There was pet hair all over everything. This was disappointing, but I survived.

I would recommend this for two people.

I usually don't reply to comments, but in this case I feel a need to set things right. I tried to get these guests in a day early (for free), then offered an extra day while they were there... before I was aware of any issues. As for the dishes in the dishwasher, they had arrived and were skiing, I allowed them to check-in early and its likely the dishwasher was still on... yes, I did miss the grinds in the machine.. sorry. Coincidentally, the photos you see above were just taken just before she checked in... after I'd finished the cleaning. Was there dog hair everywhere? I'm not sure where... hasn't been a dog in there for years. I diligently vacuum the floors and the furniture, mop, windex cabinet doors, the bathroom, walls, windows, ledges,etc... takes me about 3 hrs to clean the hot tub and 650 sq ft.!!! Yes, there are several dogs in the complex, maybe this was it, but everyone has their own entrance. Oh well, maybe we'll take her suggestion and just make the place dog friendly. It would be a great place for pets, walking paths directly across the trail. Lots of windows and your own outside entrance onto the slopes. We have lots of satisfied guests returning, year after year. Come stay with us and check it out for yourself. Best ski-in /ski-out by far! Happy Trails.

Perfect size for a couple plus child. Enjoyed the hot tub. Easy access to the village via shuttle or 10 minute walk up and down the hill. Decor is dated, but the rental is clean. The carport keeps the snow off the vehicle. Would stay here again!

We stayed over Family Day and this condo suited us perfectly! It is the ultimate ski-in/ski-out. All the necessary amenities were there; it was clean and comfortable. The private hot tub was a nice bonus. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for an economical stay.

Absolutely loved it & the owner was awesome to deal with. The place was perfect & affordable for us & the hot tub was the perfect size. Great ski in/out location. Kitchen well stocked. Felt just like home. I was celebrating my 50th on a budget & it was a dream ski vacation come true

We were disappointed in this trip, although it wasn't all due to the accommodation. The fog was heavy and in fact we weren't able to go out 2 of our 5 days. It would have been great to laze around and read, however the furniture was terrible. We had to take the sofa bed off of wooden blocks every time we wanted to open and close it! The bed was great, though, but the room was claustrophobic. A lot of the dishes were dirty when we took them out of the cupboard.

On a positive note, the owners/managers were great to deal with and the proximity to the ski runs was great. If the furniture was half decent it would have made all of the difference in the world.

Since 2013, the unit has undergone a complete remodelling, new furniture, fixtures, queen & sofa bed, carpeting, kitchen tile flooring, paint, etc.... have a look at these newer photos and please judge for yourself.

Couple of foggy days at Big White ??? ...... I'd probably be hanging out more at Snowshoes !!!! Happy Trails.

Accommodations in Big White Canada - Condo in a complex - 650 sq ft / 60 sq m - Ground level
This is the best "ski-in and ski-out" location on the mountain, right at the top of the Village, right beside the trails, night-skiing and the Telus Snowboard Park. Ski down to access all the base lifts. Ski in the back door, get a snack from the fridge and be back on the run in under a minute.

This is the absolute ideal set-up if you have young kids. There's an area outside for them to play in the large snowbanks. You're literally right beside the main trail that runs through the Village, yet out of the way, right across from the Telus Snowboard Park and night skiing area. Easy runs take you down to Happy Valley, the Village Centre, or any of the main lifts so, you can check on the kids then ski down to a lift - six minutes for the ride up and be back in fifteen.

Solana Ridge is located at the very top of the village, so walk down the road or trails to the action in the bars and restaurants in the evening, then walk back up or take the mountain shuttle bus to get home... Everything's only 5-10 minutes by walking.

Private entrance, private parking, open kitchen, corner unit lets the sun in for mornings and throughout the day.... Feels like a mountain retreat. Tiny, warm and cozy. .



Please note - there is a hot tub in the unit, but as of March 2019 has sprung a leak... So is out of service for the season. We have discounted our rates to reflect this change. The ski hills still right outside !!!
