Solar-powered home and pool nestled on the lush side of Mt. Eagle along the beaches at Cane Bay, on the lovely Caribbean island of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. A modern home with island charm and marvelous ocean views, you can see St. Thomas, St. John, and the BVIs, all while being within minutes of award-winning beaches, bars, and fine dining.

Our Villa Estate is two separate homes, We rent just this guest house. We can accomodate up to 6 vacationing together in Sunrise House lovely outdoor living space overlooking the pool and Caribbean Sea It has lounge area with built-in lounge for afternoon naps, teak reading chairs, hand-crafted wet bar, 1/2 bath, outdoor shower, teak dining table to seat 8, stainless gas grill, and relaxing pool lounges. The views are extremely beautiful.

If you really want some time away from the hustle and bustle then come on down and stay for a while Recharge. Connect with the lovely deep, blue sea.

Walk to our beautiful beach, set yourself down on the white sand with a glass of wine at sunset or take a swim in the warm, turquoise waters.

Maybe you would like to take a morning hike up the road behind the house to the top of Mt. Eagle. No one will be on that road but you. Look for hidden flowers, tropical plants you have never met before, and glimpses of that turquoise water below. Birds follow you in flight as you walk. It is just you, the mountain, and the sea. Not many other places like this private yet so very accessible. Come and enjoy.

Now all of this quiet beauty is inspiring and might be all that you want and need. But maybe you are thinking about venturing out a little further. Well, worry not because just down the North Shore Rd. (walk or drive) sits the coolest place and it is called Cane Bay Beach. A real hidden gem of a destination without crowds and lines, where you can feel comfortable hanging out by yourself or meet up with some interesting characters. The curve of a white, sandy beach invites you to lounge, swim, snorkel, scuba, and kayak. The infamous 'WALL' is a 13,000 foot drop about 300 feet offshore. For all of you divers this is a great destination. Hal and Suzanne of Cane Bay Dive Shop are located across from the beach and will set you up. Kayaks are available for rent also as is snorkel gear.

Calvin, the owner of Sprat Net, a little bar/restaurant right on Cane Bay Beach will be happy to chat with you about the island but he always keeps his eye on his son, little Calvin, who dives into the surf after school. Calvin has all of those crazy rum drinks and also grills burgers for you right there on the beach.

Across the road is Eat Cane Bay, a wonderful restaurant with food shots, local fish, eclectic specials and a wonderful wine list, as well as some very creative libations. Bartenders at EAT mix some potent island drinks. EAT has a weekly Sunday brunch with great, local reggae music.

Down the road a bit further, is the place of 'sunset shot' fame, a little beach hangout and pizza place called Off The Wall. Everything is out in the open. Picnic tables sit in the sand, and the bar is a haven for the lucky ones who left the snow and winds and now call St. Croix home. Listen in on some tall tales as there are a few salty sailors and divers still around.
