This charming villa is conveniently located on the west coast of Barbados. It was very well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay and we particularly enjoyed the breezy patio at the front of the villa.
While not strictly necessary, a car is definitely an asset to reach restaurants and grocery stores. However, public transport is within walking distance.
The owners supplied very detailed instructions for travelling from the airport to the villa as well as contact info for the property manager. We would recommend this villa for anyone vacationing in Barbados.

Our charming holiday villa in St James Parish Barbados is just three minutes walk from the crystal clear Caribbean sea, with stunning views & coral beaches, opposite the Royal Fairmont Pavilion Hotel on the west coast in the parish of St James.
Porters Court is an exclusive gated development of eight luxury chattel style villas nestled around a swimming pool set in tropical gardens. No 1 is one of the largest open-plan villas with a private garden. The exotic planting is representative of the Caribbean and Barbados. Our gardener visits Mon -Fri to look after the gardens and empty the bins. The pool is serviced twice a week to keep everything in order. The price you pay is fully inclusive of electricity water etc. No hidden bills.
Its high ceilings of traditional 'pickled pine' offer two en-suite king-size bedrooms that can be made up into either twin or king-size beds and sleeps, four people. An extra bed can be hired at $20 BDS per day. This will fit comfortably in the second bedroom. The beds are fitted with Egyptian cotton sheets. AIR CONDITIONING and ceiling fans will keep you feeling comfortable. The wraparound veranda is perfect for outdoor dining. Porters Court is a relaxing and tranquil place to enjoy your holiday. We have a well-equipped kitchen, washing machine, dryer, coffee percolator, microwave, juicer and everything you will need if you choose to dine in. No1 has a private free car park. We have fibre optic superfast broadband. A small docking station to recharge.
WIFI and modem (fast & free Wifi) The open plan lounge & dining area is spacious and opens up onto the verandah. Our private garden has two loungers and an umbrella for sunbathing. The swimming pool is conveniently near the centre of the development, with plenty of loungers and umbrellas.
Our housekeeper visits twice a week to refresh the villa.

COVID protocols
Please make sure you have insurance cover for the duration of your holiday.
Check the current UK and Barbados Government COVID website for current protocols.
If you have to cancel your holiday due to contracting Coronavirus within 14
days of travel we can offer a voucher valid for 12 months.
At present, you are required to enter Barbados with proof of a Negative PCR COVID test within the previous 72 hours of arrival.
We are following the current COVID protocols in place for property owners and have all the necessary steps to comply with health & hygiene. We provide gels for hand hygiene please take masks with you. Our housekeeper with visit the property when you are off-site a date to be agreed with the property manager. She will wear protective PPE whilst cleaning and the villa will be fully sanitised before and after your visit. We leave at least 48 hours between guests.
