St James Beach ocean is a 2 minute walk from the property crossing a road. The fine sand beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. There is no dock, moorage or float anchor.
Villa St James is situated on the coastal main road and scenic railway line and looks out over False Bay with views unobstructed by buildings. Beach and ocean in full view of villa. Beach access 200 m from villa. Beach is combo of tidal pool, rock pools and vast white soft sand with waves and gentle flat ocean. Ocean is ideal for whale watching during winter months.

St James, situated 30 minutes from Cape Town center, was the first resort to be developed by the British in the early 1900’s. Today St James is celebrated for its balmy climate, warmer Cape waters, whale watching and accessibility along the railway line which extends along the scenic coastal route to Simon’s Town.

Villa accommodates up to 16 people in 8 bedrooms with five bathrooms. Each bedroom has sea or mountain views with variable features of private outdoor or indoor balconies and a rabbit warren of inter-leading doors.

The living and leisure zone on the ground floor features an elegant 22 seater dining room. The décor blends nautical accents with collectible deco throughout the 2 lounges and billiard room along with influences of Africa and traditional Cape Dutch style. Relaxation comes easily with a substantial music and literary collection, an English pub and a secluded courtyard with trellised grapevines. The living area spills outdoors to the sheltered garden & outdoor swimming pool, with unbroken vistas of the Ocean.
