Great Location!! The location was great! <br/><br/>We arrived to a non working oven for a party of 5, and a none working fireplace. I would recommend more lighting overhead in each bedroom besides one lamp in a bedroom. Blinds need wands to open them up in the bedrooms and a good spider web cleaning would be helpful. Coffee condiments would had been a nice touch! <br/><br/>I stay in multiple VRBO&#x2019;s & Airbnb&#x2019;s with work and vacations but this was not to my satisfaction. Response from Sugar Mountain Lodging; Thursday, March 4, 2021 While the fireplace issue is very clearly stated in the unit description, the oven issue was unexpected. I did email you a few hours before your arrival once I knew about it and we did provide a small convection oven. Not ideal, but we figured it was a "better than nothing" solution. The stove is a Jenn-Air that's only a couple of years old, and none of our local appliance stores had the part in stock. It was ordered and then the order got delayed. A string of unfortunate events. The good news is that both will be fixed very soon! I do also mention in all listings that we don't provide coffee, condiments, spices, oils, etc. Thanks for taking the time to review- we learn from each one! Cody

No hot water It was a nice place but didn&#x2019;t have hot water whole time I was there called bout it more than once but other than that I like the place

Good property, poor management The actual unit is fine and comfortably housed our party of 6. The property took a little getting used to as it is an older unit - the heaters don&#x2019;t match up with the thermostat, limited hot water, etc. However, the management of this unit is sub par, to say the least. They gave our key and unit info to the wrong party and were unable to retrieve it (suggested I go up and ask them to leave). Once we got to the unit, we had to scrape ice off two flights of steps (after one member of our party fell). We were given the wrong WiFi password at check in. Additionally, management did not answer the phone when we tried to contact them (4 separate times throughout the trip). We never want any guest to be disappointed with their stay and it sounds like you certainly were. :( The internet service was recently upgraded to Spectrum and I failed to update it. Someone with the same surname did get your packet from the late arrivals box by mistake, but I can't imagine anyone asking you to "go up and ask them to leave". The situation was clearly less than ideal but was cleared up quickly. Phone service can be really spotty in this area, so in addition to our office number we also provide our cell numbers as well as our home landline numbers. These are on all our email correspondence and our office voicemail message as well. We're currently working 7 days, so someone was very likely in the office but possibly on the other line. Clean but needs to be renovated The condo needs to be renovated. It was clean but for the amount paid per night I would have expected some newer amenities.

Very spacious unit. This condo has a great living room and kitchen area with high ceilings and lots of light. The two level property sleeps 8 people and contains a master bedroom with a queen sized bed, a second bedroom with another queen bed, and a third bedroom with 2 twin sized beds. The unit has a gas fireplace and wifi. Skyleaf condos do not have air conditioning.
