Our group of 8 had a great stay here. The location for mountain biking is excellent being so close to the village and it had a convenient secured area to store bikes. Decor is quite dated but house was well stocked and beds were comfortable. The main floor patio and stairway to the deck with hot tub was boarded off because it was structurally unsafe which made it inconvenient to go around to the deck and main floor. Had we only booked the main floor as planned it would have been very inconvenient walking around the house on a dirt path to access the deck/hot tub in the rear. The back of the house was missing many sheets of siding and was in need of many repairs. I would still recommend as the price still gave an excellent value.

We too are disappointed that our building contractor had not completed the updates to the upper sundeck and siding on the back of the Chalet. (hopefully done by July 31st now) This will definitely be completed before your next visit to this very well-located, cozy and comfortable chalet!

Having stayed several times in Silver Star, we found this ski-in, ski-out access to be one of the most convenient. Enter directly off the ski way without having to carry skis upstairs. We left all our coats, pants and accessories in the large heated room and dressed in there having walked down in apre boots and thermal wear. We appreciated the large wall mirror when adjusting helmets and goggles. The house was cosy and adequate. Loved the hot tub on the open deck. Our only real issue was a shared laundry with a washing machine which seemed to stop on the spin cycle and had to be restarted, but no big deal. A drawer in the bunk bedroom lowboy was broken and kept falling out, but again no biggie. Would definitely stay again when coming to Silver Star if needing a three bedroom.

Wash machine and dresser drawer have now been repaired. Some guests are not as careful with our furniture and appliances as others ... so we appreciate it when items requiring maintenance are brought to our attention so that we may quickly fix them for future guests.

We had a great experience - everything was as expected and laid out in the pictures. The owners were super to deal with and Owner Direct was super easy to use. Easy ski or walk to the village. Right on the Ski Way down from the top of Silver Woods chair for easy ski back. Great heated change room steps from Ski Way.

Ski Vacation Deal Silver Star - Chalet - upper - 1400 sq ft / 130 sq m
Excellent ski-out near the top of the Silverwoods Chairlift. At the end of the day, ski right up to the secure Ski Locker (storage for all skis and boards) and remove your boots & gear in the heated Boot Change Room...No walking in ski boots. Then relax with a nice apres-ski beverage in the steaming hot tub right outside your door (with a great view of the face of Silver Star Mountain and the surrounding Monashee Range)! This Upper Main unit of the Chalet sleeps up to 9 people, with great access to all Silver Star Village amenities and restaurants (less than a 3 minute walk). The chalet is also a short walk to Tube Town and Brewers Skating Pond. There is a lower suite in this home (Owner Direct #124707). A fourth bedroom may be 'locked off' from the basement Suite for the benefit of this Main chalet unit for an extra charge (rate varies by season). Cozy & comfortable...Plus excellent ski-in/ski-out. All in all, the great value at Silver Star Mountain Resort!
