We had two large families (7 kids total) and a few visitors throughout the week. We had plenty of room on the main floor to have wine and food at night, while the kids played upstairs or watched movies. The hot tub was great for sunsets and the sauna was a nice touch, albeit could use a second upper bench for a hotter experience. Everything is very well maintained and thoughtful and a good blend of modern design and comfort. The only suggestion we would make is the spare room at the end of the hall have bunks in them for kids to sleep. The 2 twins are a bit small. My family and I stayed here over Family Day Weekend. There were eight adults and four kids. Overall we had an awesome time and would highly recommend this rental. A few of the positives were: - High level finishings throughout the house - Amazing view of Vernon and Lake Okanagan throughout the house - Lots of space and easily fit a party as large as ours - Kitchen was fully stocked and had lots of space to make dinner - Very clean - Owners / caretakers were easy to deal with We would definitely stay here again for the next family vacation. For our annual family Silver Star ski trip, we stayed for one week (February 6 -13, 2016) here. It is a beautiful well-built home with spectacular views. We rented both the main house and the suite. Although not connected internally, the home was so well designed, this was not an issue. With five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms, we all enjoyed the luxury of space and comfort. All beds were extremely comfortable. The open living room and gourmet kitchen were perfect for our family get-togethers. We had a wonderful week and highly recommend the property. We recently stayed over Christmas and from the moment we entered the house we were amazed at how good this place was. The Christmas tree was a great touch. We had 10 in our party and the place was well big enough for us all to gather and also have our own space at the same time. The hot tub was awesome. Only downside was that we had only 5 nights!! We will definitely go back and will stay at Guy's place and have already recommended it to everyone we have spoken to since. 2 weeks would be easy to stay here. Thanks so much. We chose this location to enjoy during the week of our wedding. We had it filled comfortably with our close friends and was a perfect place for all of us to get ready for our big day. It was a great place to escape after all the wedding chaos. We used the sauna and hot tub everyday to relax. The house and view is absolutely stunning. We can't wait to come back for a ski trip one year. Major plus for us as well was it was dog friendly. Our pup loved the concrete floor on a hot day. This is an incredible rental property! Very comfortable for all of the guests- every room except one has its own beautiful bathroom. The kitchen is amazing. Top-of-the-line appliances and a great layout made it a pleasure for us all to cook together. Hot tub, sauna, and steamroom-what else could you ask for? We are already planning on booking it for the same week next year!

This is a spectacular property well-suited to comfortably accommodate large families. The large kitchen/dining area provided the space needed for many cooks and a memorable Christmas dinner for 13 adults and 3 infants. Lots of private space and big public spaces in the home. Hot tub is easily accessible, as it is on the big deck on the main floor. View from there, and virtually from every room, is postcard perfect. The owner is a pleasure to deal with and thoughtfully provided us with a Christmas tree and initiated an early check-in. Location was great for our activities of cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowshoeing. The high-testosterone group snowboarded right from the driveway to the ski-way at the bottom of the yard over a jump they made beside the house. Those of us not in that category did the two-minute walk to the ski-way. There was a double garage available, and enough room to park six vehicles outside. Pay attention to instructions on the lighting and heat settings, as they are not intuitive. You do have to go outside on the covered walkway for a few steps to get from the upper unit to the lower unit, but we did not find this to be an issue. Family consensus is that we will be back many times.

In December, 2012, our party of six friends stayed 8 days at this fantastic house while on a cross-country skiing holiday. All features were as advertised and of high quality. The bedrooms, bathrooms and living rooms were excellent. The kitchen was spacious, very well equipped and appreciated by our "gourmet" cooks. After a day on the trails, the steam room and hot tub were especially welcomed. From first contact and through our stay, the owner was a pleasure to deal with and very attentive to our needs. We look forward to a return visit!

The 5 star rated chalet was completed in 2011 and was constructed more like a home and less like a rental. The main house includes three large and comfortable bedrooms, two of which are en-suite with a separate twin bedroom and bathroom. There is a large, open-plan ground floor reception area with an eight person dining room table, living area with sofas and a contemporary gas fireplace. The kitchen features a dedicated entertainment sink within a large island and is ideal for those who like to entertain and cater for large groups with top of the range built-in stainless steel Miele appliances. A large hot tub on the west facing exterior terrace offers stunning views of Vernon and the Okanagan Valley. The ski-entrance includes secure ski and snowboard storage, a traditional 6 seat cedar sauna with an adjoining shower and changing room.
In addition to the bedrooms the top floor features a spacious and comfortable media room with internet ready 55” LCD TV, blu-ray and satellite with integrated 5:1 surround sound system and full wifi throughout the house. Guests have access to a heated 2 car garage. The house is equipped with Apple TV for those with accounts, as well as a Sonos built-in music system.
Defined by modern styling, hand-made furniture, bespoke custom artwork and personalized touches throughout, the house has integrally colored polished concrete and Brazilian Cherry hardwood flooring with radiant heating and programmable mood lighting. It is excellent for large groups that like to entertain and enjoy something a little different from their ski accommodation.
The suite features two separate double bedrooms & bathrooms over two floors. The living area is equipped with a separate fully equipped kitchen and dining area with a queen size pull-out sofa bed and media center. The downstairs/basement bedroom contains an additional queen size pull-out bed.
