I stayed here for three nights in mid-January with a group of friends and really enjoyed my stay. My party and I are very happy that we chose this particular property for our ski getaway. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly, genuine, and accommodating. There were no surprises when we got there and everything was just as described in the listing or better. It was very clean, spacious, and modern inside. The views on a clear day are great, both at night and during the day. The sauna was a major factor in choosing this lodge. Even though it took a while to heat up, it was a fantastic way to relax after a day on the slopes and before heading to the village pub. The two-car garage with heated floors is a nice touch. The drive way easily fits another 4 cars. The cross-country trail behind the lodge leads to a lift. However, it is a bit of a work out if you ski (walk if you ride) as parts of it are slightly uphill. It took about 5-7 minutes for the boys to get from the door to the lift. There is a free shuttle going by the main entrance which takes you village as another option.
Overall, I am quite happy with the property and would come back next year.

We really enjoyed this modern home. View is spectacular. Would definitely rent again. The sauna and steam room are a great bonus. Ski out involves a bit of poling, but great for cross-country. Like having a garage to park in.

The 5 star rated Hudson's Rest was completed in 2011 and represents a recent addition to the Knoll. Built more as a home and less as a rental, the 2500 sq. Ft. Main house includes three large and comfortable bedrooms, two of which are en-suite with a separate twin bedroom and bathroom.

There is a large, open-plan ground floor reception area with an eight person dining room table, living area with sofas and a contemporary gas fireplace. The kitchen features a dedicated entertainment sink within a large island and is ideal for those who like to entertain and cater for large groups with top of the range built-in stainless steel Miele appliances. A large hot tub on the west facing exterior terrace offers stunning views of Vernon and the Okanagan Valley. The ski-entrance includes secure ski and snowboard storage, a traditional 6 seat cedar sauna with a separate shower/steam room and changing room.

In addition to the bedrooms the top floor features a spacious and comfortable media room with internet ready 55” LCD TV, blu-ray and satellite with integrated 5:1 surround sound system and full wifi throughout the house. Guests have access to a heated 2 car garage.

Defined by contemporary styling, hand made furniture, bespoke custom artwork and personalized touches throughout, this high specification property features integrally colored polished concrete and Brazilian cherry hardwood flooring with radiant heating and programmable mood lighting. It is excellent for large groups that like to entertain and enjoy something a little different from their ski accommodation.
